Great work Flamu having so much more fun with BBs now.

Smoke-blapping guide is tops, whiney Smolensk accused me of hacking when I blind dev-striked him. Got any advice for working around battleship guns that love to Overpen (Alsace, Richelieu / Gasgogne, Roma, I'd put Izumo in there too, maybe some of the KM)? They seem to be "bounce off the front / overpen through the broadside" disaster areas. I end up ignoring a lot of the more troublesome cruisers in favour of shooting battleships because at least on the latter I know my shells will arm; that or I go for the gun turrets if close enough to hit them - but that's nowhere near as satisfying as getting those citadels.

Interesting example, definitely a well played mid to late game. Early game was a gimme with the Monty and Soyuz not turning south and angling against both you and the Yamato which is a wild oversight on their part. GG tho Flamu, love your content and insight.

1:43 yeah that was me on forum saying this. Fun fact 3 of those BBs were a full div. Next day same crap I saw when I was playing my DD. Though today I didn’t see it maybe people learned not all yolo B on their BBs.

well, since you started, when BB is done how about some cruiser and DD positioning guides? if you decide to do it, please, for cruisers make for low tier and high tier :D

Cross fire the flank from the middle. Pray one of the enemy flanks collapse. Push up once the dds are identified\killed. Got it!

The problem of mine trying to hold the center position and try to get juicy broadsides is that my teammates on both flanks are too bad or too scared to have critical impact on the enemy. And it always ended up in me and a few survivors being bullied in a massive crossfire.

Filed for near future needs under "How to play Izumo." Which 4-point skill would you take first, FP or CE? Would you consider sacrificing AR and EL to take BOS?

The german bb's biggest problem was not aiming for your turrets.. it is at least for me, very very good at that range for taking turrets out..

I did the same thing as others. When up into the mid after watching the last video and got it handed to me. The opposition's two CVs deleted me and my team basically split onto either flanks and pushed hard from the start.

I know it's late but it's never to late to learn something new. Is this playstyle appliable to any BBs? How about ships that likes to brawl eg: Kremlin, Bismarck/Tirpitz etc?

I usually prefer a flank in my ANGRY PIG and the range anymore is often worth the slower turret traverse. I'm one of the oddballs that likes Izumo over Yamato.

I would like a central position example but with a German ship, but not A TX, the Bismarck

Flamu can you upload more videos where you are in maps with a bunch of islands in one of the sides or maybe both like in the last one with Yammy? would like to see how much oportunitys and how you create them when dealing with this. Also can you upload one or two in epicenter mode? i think epicenter is the name of the game mode when the 3 caps stay in the mid of the map.

Rule #1 from a BB to a DD, do not launch torps when your friendly BB is brawling

Good tips and hopefully you can guide many potatoes of CA to use radar and catch the dds. Too much potatoes CA want farm BB n then being blop by BB.

How do you do that closeed up aimming at 11:15 with such smooth frame rate and control? ı have never seen what. in thoose close up situations i either use the normal camera angle( which makes it kinda hard to aim in a certain place at point blank range ) or ı get on the turret view but that also causes my frame rate to drop to a significantly lower rate then normal ( ı get about 40-50 normal but in drive by and CQC it drops to 5-10 at best 15)

Ah that montana man.. Yesterday i was going to rush around the corner in my hipper to torp a Lenin.. My bismarck killed me with hes back turrets,, and ofcourse you dont get any exp compensation or something..

Hi Flamu, Im relatively new to WoWS and I dont understand what you use the letter sigma for here. I know sigma primarily as the standard deviation however a higher standard deviation would imply less accuracy rather than more as you say in the video. What is the letter used for in WoWS?

They should made your video mandatory to watch for all the players. It will improve the general gameplay so much. Therefore save some players who wants to quit the game all together because teammates are acting extremely stupid all the time....

Can you answer my question: How do you play Azuma? If I use AP, it is basicly overpen... Is it a long range ship? Short range ship? I have an identitiy crisis with Azuma... I win lots of rounds, but hard to be Top 5 with it

are the american bbs good at central positions or should you use them more like the Japanese bbs

I don't really understand how it works this well for you.. I mean if I were in your position in this game, what would happen is my teammate would turn tail towards J line and run away. In a different map with similar 3 caps in E line, and I did go to G7, so between B and C caps. I was playing vladivostok, and I had a friendly Montana there who decided to run away and camp at J8 when 2 enemy BBs (vladi and georgia) came through the cap. I ended up in crossfire, got farmed and killed by those BBs, and that georgia at the end of the game ended up ramming that montana after blapping him for 50k dmg.. and worst part is, I blapped that georgia twice really hard at perfect boardside, he had below 3k health at some point.. the game was a typical weekend disaster.

So, in order for your guides on centre positioning to work you need: 1) cooperating enemies that shoot a bow-in Yamato instead of a broadside Bajie; 2) team mates able to think and breathe at the same time; 3) potato enemy CV that goes for the good-AA JB instead of going for the no-AA Bajie, then tries to run away in the same direction of the incoming threat and finally tries to ram a BB; 4) total idiots in the enemy DDs, that go hunting butterflies on the map border instead of blapping the big fat BB in the centre of the map; 5) cooperating enemy BB players, first lining up on your bow instead of creating crossfires and then exposing broadside to shoot with the rear guns. In the real world (I.e. ANY server but the RU server) these things don’t happen too often: although there is no shortage of idiots, they tend either to cluster on your team (not the enemy) or to be evenly distributed, thus rendering any hope of cooperation from your team mates vain...
