Battleship USS IOWA Museum is taking cleanliness to a whole new level. Our special operations team has deployed... the zzzzzzzzzzapper. It sprays effervescent disinfectant to keep surfaces clean and safe for our guests and crew. Don’t be surprised if you see someone sneaking around with one when you visit.
Goofy battleship commando videos aside, our disinfectant "gun" really is pretty great. One tank of fluid will generously cover the entire tour route (every area in this video is open for you to visit except the bridge - and you can peek in the window from the angle shown to see that). We go over all areas hourly, we've got hand sanitizer stations set up at intervals, our crew wears masks, and we've even got IOWA masks for sale in our temporary gift shop.
