Sorry for the reupload but i needed to fix an error (i forgot the 20mm section). What's your favorite vehicle added this update? Corrections: -The Rooster Junkwagon is now made at the vehicle factories and must be upgraded into the other trailers
man i had some friends invite me to play the foxhole alpha years ago. I remember after playing it for a few days thinking "eh that was ok, but i can see the player base dying off in a month and going back to company of heroes." Never have I ever been so delighted to eat those words.
Great vid! Nice shout out to RobertLuvsGames, I've been following both of you for a while now. Best media promotion for Foxhole has been videos like this. 😍
Yes. They will have a population increase, since the war provides them with more food and the wrecks will become reefs, increasing their habitat. And in the winter, they will fly south to milder climates...
We have landships, we have waterships, now we need airships! I think that would honestly be really cool, zeppelins wouldn't run into the perceived problems with aircraft (speed, difficulty aiming, altitude), but allow for spotting, bombing, and probably some... interesting mid-air firefights that'd play out more like 19th century naval combat.
I've been thinking about it too. Since we cannot look up, it is logical for the equipment to have a new window with a radar where all the air forces will be shown. AA guns are either auto, or you will need to aim in this very window. Like, you hear the sound of the engine, you go into the gun and wait until the target appears on the map. Fighter fights can take place in the same radar mode, or in a separate sub-space, which is connected to the usual map only with information about AA guns and bombs flying down
@@carrott36 I suppose "looking up" will mean a first-person view of the sky, which seems to me contrary to the design of the game, but I really didn't take just half a step to the idea that when you climb into the AA gun, your view are transported to the subspace of aircombat
uh-oh, someone forgot to make the amendment to the trailers info. xD The Rooster Junkwagon is now made at the vehicle factories and must be upgraded into the other trailers as of Phase 5 Dev branch and made it to the Live War.
So the ballast tank work differently to what you say. 1. Filling them with air doesn't help you dive, filled with air means they are "blown" of any water inside them to make you lighter than the water. If you fill them with water that will help you reach neutral buoyancy which in turn helps with diving and maintaining depth. Safety Ballast: used to counter damage to the vessel by shifting the stern lower into the water thus making the propellers push you in a upward like motion. Main Ballast: used to control standard diving and maintaining depth Negative Ballast: used to conduct Crash dives in the event of a emergency causing the Sub to dive much faster while moving due to the forward heaviness
“[…] damaging a ship to a point in which it explodes is not impossible, but extremely difficult, so you are better off […] trying to flood it as quickly as possible.” colonial BB crew bursts in laughter
Not really a player, but fantasy already draws situations where the fleet is locked in a besieged city and helps with guns, or that the wrong choice of priorities leads to the division of the seas into Varden and Colonial, followed by the suppression of any opportunity to win them back. Unless it's a covert operation to assemble a fleet of retaliation....
Some personal suggestions. Mines should be made neutral and should be able to be placed on the surface or just below the waterline. The submarine torpedoes should do more damage and they should be able to fire 4 of them instead of 2. Sub's instead of the dual 40mm should also get a single exposed 120mm deck gun and Tripod slot to better be able to defend itself or attack ships on the surface
Warden SPH looks cool at and colonial Heavy truck looks like a beast, now I want to create an artillery battalion with 3-4 SPG 2 scout cars and 1-2 logi trucks
Hey bear! Great vid. I’m be thing I noticed was for the safety ballast, you said to keep the safety ballast full of air. You got it backwards, the safety ballast should be full of water so in case you spring a leak you can blow the safety ballast and surface. Look forward to more content!
Meh except the gunboats for the naval part the rest is pretty much impossible to reach for smaller groups so unless they add cheapest ships in the future like corvettes or frigate this update is reserved to Big regiment, a shame
Completely unrelated to the setting and type of game this is but now I want a rare kraken or megalodon style seamonster encounter that would happen maybe once or twice per war randomly. Think it'd be a cool random natural disaster.
I just wanna say how hilarious it is that a month someone was calling me stupid for saying they should give boats a direct and artillery mode. Look who's laughing now!
I see they're sticking to the battleship name instead of what they actually are, light cruisers. Unless they're planning to surprise everyone with proper battleships later down the line, along with heavy cruisers perhaps. Along with aircraft.
A realistically sized battleship would have trouble navigating with Foxhole's map sizes. What they've done is already extremely experimental. Though, I predict eventually they'll add "superheavy battleships" with 300mm main guns.
@@Zorro9129 ,or just know the maximum range of the standard rifle and then simply measure two or three times from where the maximum range falls off. 70 meters, though, disincluding the smaller ironclad warships, would be closest to the 1892 Royal Sovereign-class battleships, which are 115.8 meters. And armed with four 343 mm/13.5 inch guns in two turrets. Yeah, the devs have no excuse to not put an actual battleship of 100 meters with 300 mm guns if these "battleships" are 70 meters long and deemed good enough for travel.
didnt kno u had a tiny house, u should do a video of ur setup. also didnt know that certain resources unlock later in the wars, super cool, waiting for a sale to get this game for my friend group
Would have appreciated pictures during the balance change section. I'm new to the game and have no idea what you were talking about for most vehicles/weapons
Honestly, if they added vehicle customization like if I could take a heavy truck an replace the back with a flatbed an add either mounted guns or artillery for example that would be cool especially on the barges.
I was wondering, couldn't the devs add a faction-specific flatbed based on the heavy truck chassis? They are big enough for that, and it would help with hauling large items
I've watched your vids on and off past couple years and I can never decide if I really want to to dive into Foxhole. I keep hearing mixed comments about the community towards solo players and newbies
Just to follow that up a 150mm gun would put those ships in the light cruiser range IRL for WW1/2, a BB was generally above 11" guns Pre-WW1, with Iowa having 406mm
If,and only if,you get a group of around six or more buddies in the same voice call, regardless of experience playing the game, and all of you go on a one way trip to the enemy rear to wreck havoc,go right ahead. If you join by yourself and the first thing anyone tells you is to become a member of logistics, then enjoy the most boring part of the game that most people realised when the logistics riot occurred. And yes, this sort of game has very toxic clan mentalities have mass resported other people for no good reason.
Theres still a place for it you can always produce the basic necesities. But i would enourage you just to volunteer with say a facility owner. Everyone always appreciates amd extra hamd
this game is cool AF obviously and its super in depth and detailed. if you guys made this a sci fi game instead of world war 1 or 2 ya'll would be 10x richer
I’m willing to volunteer my time to help you out. I need some portfolio work and I want to stream this game more but yea I just graduated digital social media editing and I’m a disabled veteran so I have my Va income but
