Battlestar Galactica Theme (Enzo Margaglio Remake) 

I loved that show when I was a kid and love that theme music to this day. That is an excellent remix! Faithful to the original while new and exciting!

Use to watch this on Tv every weekend as a child , loved it .

As much as I liked the remake of battlestar galactica, you can't beat the original series. Just a shame it took so long for a generation of people to actually appreciate it

Surprising twist on the theme. Bravo. So much for you being afraid to divert too much from the original. 😂 I met Stu Phillips almost 20 years ago and he showed me the orignal, hand written score for the BSG theme. It was magical. I was even allowed to touch the pages. 😊

Wow... Just Wow. The old two movies was, what the audience saw. But this remix is, what played in my mind, when I cut those ships out of paper and played gigantic space battles, after I watched the movies. You nailed it perfectly.

I just dug out my DVD set of the series for a rewatch this month. I remember it was such a huge deal for Dad when we finally got cable and they were doing a marathon of BSG on scifi in the late 90s. It was his second favorite scifi series after Star Trek and he even found some BSG kid books from the 80s for me.

Wahnsinn, ein perfekter Mix, die original BSG Serie, da sieht der Kampfstern auch aus wie ein Kampfstern, die Serie hatte so viel Potential, ich weiß noch wir haben Kampfstern Galactica damals im Kino gesehen, so wurde uns die Serie vorgestellt, die ÖRs haben die meisten 70er Jahre Serien ja geflissentlich ignoriert, bis RTLplus sie damals ins Programm nahm, leider geschnitten wie man auf dem BD Release sehen kann, danke für die Erinnerung mit dem neu gemixten BSG 1978 Theme ... 🙂

I love it. Remaking it as synth music without ruining the tone and theme of the original is a difficult thing to do indeed. That was amazing.

the 80s was a good time to be a kid especially when it comes to TV programmes knight rider hill street blues Alf Mind your Language Duke of hazard street Hawk Aoto man and the List goes on in today's world you will be very Lucky to even find these in your Local DVD shop

The strong percussion feels more like Bear McCreary's work on the modern series - with the synth being even more period-appropriate than the original series's orchestral score. If the unreleased "Second Coming" pilot ever got picked up, I imagine the music could have wound up sounding quite a bit like this. A perfect halfway point.

Oh man. I keep coming back to listen to this version. As a child I was a huge fan of the Cylon vocoder voices. This small detail from 1:45 completes this version.

This remix lacks the depths and the powerful chords, the spirit of hope and to never give up which the original incorporates. Yet I know you made other remixes which I really enjoyed. Battlestar Galactica (original) will always be the best.

I bought the DVD Boxset of the original series a while back. I watched it as a kid back when it aired in the late 70's. Without going into details I'm sorry to say for me personally some things were just better left as cherished childhood memories. I'm now rethinking watching my Buck Rogers, Space 1999, UFO, Thunderbirds and Airwolf boxsets!

Incredible Enzo, I really don't know how you manage to reinterpret soundtracks that were and are unique in the original?! You showed it again with Battlestar Galatika. And just watching and listening to the pictures of this, for me, great series from my childhood, in your interpretation, is simply amazing. Sound and images so perfectly coordinated with each other. I've asked you a few times if you could do the theme song for the series Kampfstern Galaktika and now you have it. I don't know which song will come next. And I could write you so many more, but no matter which one comes next, it's worth the wait. Thank you for all the effort you put into delighting us with your great songs, Enzo. Unglaublich Enzo, ich weiß echt nicht wie Du es immer wieder schaffst Soundtracks die schon im Orginal einzigartig waren und sind, aufs neue Interpretieren?! To date, in my opinion, BSG is the only IP to have a reboot that didn't disrespect the source material and changed almost everything about the show itself. While 2003 was my introduction to BSG, I did go back to the original and fell in love with it too.

Very nice re-interpretation of the Original Theme by Stu Phillips. I liked the transition of the Intro Monologue from Human to Cylon Voice, it added something very Dark and Sinister.

Great work as usual. I would love to hear you do a remix of the opening them from Disney's "The Black Hole" sometime. One of my favourite movie themes.
