Only about five percent of Alzheimer's cases impact people younger than 65. Yet Jill Lattanzio, who is in her mid-40's, is fighting the disease. She's the youngest patient diagnosed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, her family says. NBC10's Matt DeLucia shares her story.

As a newly diagnosed early onset dementia patient, I'm so happy to have found this video. I've searched for a support group and have only found ones for caregivers. I need input and advice from the people who are living with it and in the same stage as me. We all do.

She passed away. I googled and she died November 2021. Very sad. She declined very quickly.

Alzheimers had its challenges, but igrotum is proving to be a reliable and effective solution. Encouraged by the positive changes.

Early onset dementia can go very fast between 2 to 8 years

I’m sitting in my car I’m 45 n just found out I have it as well I’m still refusing to believe it , I’m just married couple years ago n thinking of just going at it alone to not let my wife suffer n move on I’m just shocked I hate watching videos n have tried to avoid them but it’s hard

What a selfless act! I'm sorry this has happened to you. I'm 43 and getting ready to get tested. I can't remember peoples names or recognition of faces. I'm glad I am divorced but your wife will take care of you ❤ even if you're willing to sacrifice yourself for her, I bet she won't leave.❤ Prayers for her and you!

I just read your comment mate about having such a horrible disease at such a young age, I hope things are not going to bad for you now. Dad passed 2 years ago with dementia and it still hurts. I am 58 and have had symptoms for a while now. All the best to you and your family.
