Battling With Mum Over Different Dress Styles | Say Yes To The Dress UK 

This is the one time that I think the mom didn’t do that to make it about her taste in gowns. I think she was just trying to help her daughters’ insecurities. Never said anything bad about her, her taste in dresses or her body.

She has the most ever supportive mom in the world and her mom is very emotional when she saw her daughter wearing her dream wedding dress. It really fits good on her and I just want to say, I'm so happy for you because finally, you will have the chance to wear your dream princess dress on your wedding day and take note, it's for a very unexpected low price.

God I'm tired of that second dress. They show it literally to everyone.

I just think she should've tried on more ball gowns before choosing that one

I loved the entourage and the mother. They were very supportive and trying to make the bride's insecurities about her tummy go. Hence she was finally able to see past the tummy and see what a great figure she has😊

I love how when they say the budget is £3000 they look at dresses of all prices below that and often it comes to well below budget. I feel like on the US one the dresses are always maximum $500 below their budget and often over!

I love how her mum had an opinion which she fought for but she also did it to be supportive of her daughter. She wants to make her daughter feel special in her dress!

I loved the 2nd dress, but I see why she says it doesn’t seem like a wedding dress, its very much more like a 20s-30s Hollywood red carpet dress

She's lucky that she looks amazing in both ball gown and fitted. Usually there's a problem with one or the other, like you look short and lost in a ball gown, or fat and unflattering in a fitted. Not the case at all with Holly.

I love the second dress. 😍 I think if my mom and I would choose my wedding dress, she'd prefer to see me covered with a poofy dress but I'd like a more form fitting gown and show a little bit of skin, maybe off the shoulder or a keyhole. 😊

For an outdoor wedding when it is going to be warm outside, I think the 2nd one is way better. The one she chose made her look bigger.

She was getting married in Spain. I think a spanish style veil (mantilla) with her crown would have been sooo beautiful. None the less she looked great in every dress.

This woman has a wonderful figure, but we all have insecurities. I think she feels she would be self conscious and holding everything in all day in the more fitted dresses, but in the princess gown she can relax more and let, what she has of a belly, hang out if she wants lol. One thing I wish they did on this show is a sit down test. It's all good having a form fitting dress, but if you can't sit down comfortably in it your done for!

That first dress looks like two different dresses sewn together: top is beige, heavily beaded and sequined, while the bottom is white, and ethereal.
