Remember when Batman admitted that he cared for Catwoman, then arrested her anyway? I miss heroes with integrity

I hate batma'am more than Captain Karen, at this point. Just being upfront. This repeated plot about the bat suit is beyond stupid. It's not the ironman suit. Their face is sticking out. Just shoot her in the mouth and be done with it. Why does Alice even care? She knows who she is. She has had the drop on her multiple times. This is just the writers being hung up on the suit because they assume that is what makes Batman... Batman. But it isn't. Anyone who watched the cartoon in the 90s could tell them that. They're so petty they just have to have an explanation for why he was a hero. If it were that easy then anyone could be Batman. I just want to punch the show in the throat for its cavalier attitude about what makes a hero. *KATE KANE IS NO HERO!!*

Mouse: We're a wannabe Joker and Harley, but reversed! Alice: Hey, Tommy! You're a wannabe Bruce Wayne! Hush: Grrrrr!!! Kate: Hey, Azrael! You're a wannabe Batman (but not like me)! Azrael: Grrrrr!!! "Boundless Idiocy" should've been what Kate became the Paragon of, not Courage.

For reference, Hush in the comics was a methodical and highly intelligent villain that managed to temporarily steal Bruce's identity. But he's a straight white guy ,so y'know what that means....

Hush was one of the most dangerous villains that Batman had ever dealt with. His childhood friend who always exploited Batman's one weakness which was Catwoman. So far as to kidnap her and surgically remove her heart from her chest and showcase it to Batman himself inside of a fish tank. But in this show? WHAT THE FUCK DID THEY DO TO HIM?? THIS IS EVEN WORSE THAN HOW THEY DID HUSH IN ARKHAM KNIGHT!!

Luke Fox was never a simp in the Comics. But you can never trust these shows to honor great characters like Batwing.

That wasn't Hush. That was his short bus little brother "Shut Up". Lmao Luke had to act stupid by not only answering an unknown number but quickly believing it was Kate just because it sounded like her, given that they've dealt with a person that could imitate voices.

So the C.W. cares about representation but they have humiliated a black character who was got disrespected by two lesbians: one instantly blames him for losing a journal and never apologizes to him for being rude / another one ends becoming more a smarter computer person than him and complains about how old the BatComputer is.

I recently watched some of "Beware the Batman". Katana was badass, without having to go "She's better than Batman!" Alfred being able to disagree with Batman, without being immediately dismissed because "Nah I'm perfect.", And Batman respects him, unlike the Batwoman/Luke dynamic of "White woman beats a black man until he calls her massa.". And as a lesser detail: Magpie is Waaaaay more interesting in that version. All the villains are, but you can directly compare those two to see just how much more fleshed out and interesting the animated one is.

God i hope that No Robins will be in this..Batgirls would get better treatment BUT that would be them whining how Bruce and robins prob touched them all the time and all that bs

Fun thing is: Rachel Maddow has more credibility as a fake talk show host in Batwoman, than a real one on MSNBC.

How this trainwreck hasn't been canceled is beyond me. I'd given up on the show months ago, but still watch your reviews because they're much more entertaining than the actual show.

I've always hated the "prisoner release button" trope in television. Why does a button like that even exist? More so, even if it has to exist, why isn't it more protected? Why isn't the release button a 32 digit code you have to enter on a computer or locked behind a vault-like panel that requires 4 different keys to unlock? Why is it always just out in the open where any schmuck could hit it by accident? Why?!

Of course the bat computer was outdated to the Super Genius Lesbian Hacker of Color. It didn't have the Twitter app installed.

And just like that, the writers now feel the need to bring Joker into the series; either having someone else take-up the Joker mantle, or retconning him out of being dead, just to make Batman look "incompetent" and not bat an eye when Kate kills him later.

I'm convinced if we look at the writers of this dumpster fire show... It would be revealed that they are Batmans Rouges in a way to discredit Batman.

All you need to know about Hush is that he would not be playing the incompetent second fiddle to some punk like Alice. He especially wouldn't tolerate Alice so purposely screwing up his plans. I'm still wondering how Mouse's disguise is working. Not only are people not noticing that Mouse is gone, not only are they noticing that the Doctor and Alice interact in the most obvious 'we're scheming' manner, but shouldn't someone notice something up with the Doctor? Does this guy interact with no one outside of the Arkham staff? No relatives or friends wondering why he's suddenly stopped calling them or anything? Also, for a progressive show, they've literally reduced all major female characters to love interests for Kate who exist solely to suck her off. The only ones who don't do this are either relatives or underaged. And this will continue since the Sophias person they keep bringing up is Kate's ex in the comics. The only plus I give this episode is Mouse slowly getting more and more pissed as Alice keeps destroying any chance of happiness he has.

Lemme guess, Julia's apparent nerve damage will eventually turn her into a psuedo-Oracle while the kryptonite is needed to actually damage the Bat-suit as it's secretly an ass-mask made from some version of Superman's hair?

It's fast, has independent power, it's processing speed is the highest in the world, and it's core is buried under so much reinforced concrete it would take a nuke to destroy it. Me when I saw the scene were Mary found Lucuis Fox glasses. Wait a minute, an intelligent man, with a goatee, builds gadgets and armor for their friend so they can become a hero or vigilante, who just so happens to leave a spare of glasses that would help that person get through the remainder of the plot and for the good of mankind. Me- GOD DAMNIT THEY'RE RIPPING OFF SPIDERMAN FAR FROM HOME!!! DAMN these writers I'm serious

In the Flash Barry can't save the day without his team and when they call him out on stuff (if he deserved it or not) he listen's to them In Batwoman she does need help but treats her team like dirt and they don't/can't call her out on it What the heck?!

Spoilers for the review: I GENUINELY 100% believed you when you said Luke got knifed from behind by Tommy. I was like, “If they kill him just like that, I will scream with laughter knowing who they’re replacing him with.”

So, in other words, this episode was just as horrible and illogical as the 18 that came before it...no surprise there.

Joker is alive and well when the writers need him to be. So them being logical about anything is completely wrong.

I find it amazing that in writing, I pass along every project to at least two others to read (and call out incongruencies, etc.) and a room full of people can't ask the simple questions that anyone not glad handedly breaking their arms patting each other on the back would be able to notice. Like, most writers are so paranoid of a "Why didn't your character do X, Y, or Z in this situation?" We will have the book, story, manuscript, screenplay and then the other 75% of what isn't in the story which is one sentence to explain why...this show is so bad, it could have only come from a committee of people with a screw loose and an axe to grind.

I think, a stream of Thorias, Azz, Nerdrotic & Doomcock doing a review of Batwahmen would be an instant classic 🤔😉

Not sure what that says about me. Word is growing, keep up the good work and you have nothing to fear if you are willing to put this much effort into it. Why don't you review The Boys. Review something you will absolutely love.

There are now....what? Three kinds of Weapons that can pierce the Batsuit already? Is this Thing made out of wet Paper?! Why are there so many Anti-Batman Weapons?!? And why would they need Kryptonite? Yeah, it is lethal for Kryptonians as well as Humans, but there must be cheaper ways to punch a Hole in this Suit than a rare Mineral from Outer Space!

Hello Thorias. I bear grave news regarding Batwhamen. I've got to known that there will be only 1 more episode, due to producers were not able to make more episodes due to covid-19. Which means that when the covid will be over, there will be even more episodes. However that is not the worst of what is out there in the world! There will be second season of Batwhamen. Even though views and rating are at the bottom of the barrel.

And as you said, no one got hurt or died so Kate paid no price for discarding Luke. Hush deserves better than to be just a henchman considering what he is capable of doing. I think a Heart of Hush story but with Batwoman could have worked, but at this point there’s no way it would.

You know what, in a better world, this is what I thought the show would do: Mad Hatter would have been the main villain of S1, he would have experimented on Alice instead of that doctor guy, maybe he had implanted his mind control tech in her head so that she would go crazy from all the voices/straight-up influence her mind to turn her evil. Thomas Elliot would only be introduced as a pretty good guy in S1, but then in S2, Bruce Wayne would apparently return. Through S2, Batwoman would go on a version of that Identity Thief quest from Arkham City, where she investigates murder victims all over the city, and would confide with Bruce, but then we find out that it was actually Thomas Elliot the whole time. Similar to the comics, he would announce that he's going to support Gotham by donating billions of Wayne's wealth to the city, in an attempt to run Wayne Enterprises into the ground, but Batwoman would actually turn the tables on him by having the other CW superheroes arrive to back her up, saying that Elliot has to pretend to be Bruce Wayne until Bruce comes back (if ever), to cover for Wayne's/Batman's disappearance, otherwise they will reveal to the world that he is a fraud. That way, we can get "Bruce Wayne" in the show, Batwoman and Thomas would be able to get some actual good drama, and the CW would be able to keep its hate-boner for Bruce Wayne alive and well. Best of both worlds.

man, i usually agree with you 110% on everything batwoman, but this time i feel i have a slight correction to make: lucius fox's code was actually really complex, making it a rare solid element in this hot mess of a show: more than a hundred characters from different alphabets old and new ("a" from aramaic, "b" from babylonian or something and so on), all distributed along irregular intervals that -- and this is where the father-son tie-in come in -- correspond to luke's social number. honestly i would have been impressed even if it was luke's birthday on reverse, because the alphabet thing was complicated enough. so yeah, you're right about everything else, but this code they came up with? respect. it was good. until the glasses came up, i mean. :/
