Couldn’t agree more mate... always tell customers - if you wanna pay £300 more for a worcester then go nuts - but there’s nothing between these and most Worcester’s. To us lads it’s a box on a wall... but if customers want your honest advice then this wins, hands down.
Lovely to service aswell so easy good boilers The Main eco compact similar boiler just comes with a 5yr warranty Part of baxi group so its another option for customers who dont want to spend much on a boiler
Razz couldn’t agree more mate. The eco compact are cracking little boilers and their part numbers are the same as the 600/800 range - so essentially the same boiler. Different filling loop and you can’t pipe up the back without a standoff kit... but the eco-compact is a great £1300 (ish) install for us. Keep smiling mate... hope life is treating you well.
I've had 2 if the adey micro filters pop off during commissioning. I guess they provide the micro in supposed the pro 2 to keep costs down. 2 x 1/2" tap connectors with 165 mm centres and a couple of elbows. Use this as a regid assembly instead of the filling link whilst installing. Once pipeworks all in, remove it and install the filling link. Use it for your next install. 🤘
Are they very quiet, I need an old back boiler system changed. It will go in the airing cupboard in a bedroom where the water tank is now. I don't want it to stop me sleeping. Thanks Adrian
Hi. I've had 2 quotes from different installers. One pushing the baxi 800 and the other the Viessman Vitodens. No real difference in price. Not sure which one to go for. What would your recommendation be. Thanks for any help
Baxi - all day. Viessman vitodens has some real issues IMO. Fitted them before and had callbacks a couple of years down the line. Rubber hoses internally and performance issues causing installers stress - and homeowners having to call in on warranty repairs. Combi-combi swap - expect to pay around the £2000 - £2300 ish i’d imagine
