One of reasons why people criticize Bayo2 is low player DPS. May be they does something wrong? My problem with the game is that fights end too fast.
I used Fox McCloud skin in chapter 10 because it's the hardest chapter in the game and I didn't want to spent the whole day on 1 chapter, and chapter 16 (Prophet + Aesir) is just annoying. + I knew this outfit changes Assault jet to Airwing, so I just wanted to see it. I didn't know it changes gameplay as well, so I decided to do the whole chapter as Fox. Yes, it's easier than with original costumes, but you either way can get plat combo and time, so why not? Chapter 9 Verse 3 is different case. The whole chapter is no problem, but Verse 3... Well, I finished it 5 times with stone time. Idk, may be it's possible to get pureplat with just A4O, but I gave up.
About boss fights. Chain chomps won in the poll, but "challenge" is still A4O only, so I just added it as bonus clips. But by the time I reached chapter 12 I lost interest in chain chopers, so excuse me.

This modpack contains Bayo1 uniform with Bayo2 hair ("extra" folder, but if you see chapter 13, you will understand why it's in different folder).

Quick explanation - repacked data000.cpk must stay in Bayonetta2_Mod_support folder, not replace original cpk.
For lazy people here are already repacked cpk - www.mediafire.com/folder/22pf...
Put this folder in graphicPacks folder, then run Cemu, options - graphic packs - Bayonetta 2 - Game mods - mod support.
My link contains 2 cpk: data000.cpk - with B1 body - B2 hair, data000(2).cpk - with unchanged B1 uniform. You may download 1 of them and rename the one you need to data000.cpk.
Btw, I finished this run 15.II.2023. I started to hate editing my videos.
Btw(2), chapter 1 has no editing at all. Everything is done in 1 attempt.

I SWEAR !!! That looks way better than with the long hair. And also, her red Lynx from the first game always looked off because the fur is supposed to be white, not red. So this version is way WAY better too, it's even very pretty.

I've always read the criticism about it as Less about the possibility of pulling off stuff like this, more about how limiting it can feel in comparison to what came before. For sure you can do these things but it doesn't change how shite the time rankings in this game can be anyway. I'm glad you're making these videos anyway, it's great gameplay and somebody's gotta put these things out here for its own sake. It just doesn't change that the problems are still existent anyway if that makes sense

if u lock on the enemy, hold down on the joystick, kick and dodge rapidly: you’ll get a garunteed bat within. Lock+ ⬇️+ kick + dodge

When you did this run, did you overwrite your Play History of Bayonetta, or is it a separate save data? I tried this and it seems that the playable characters share one Play History.

They combined all character progess in Bayonetta 2 which means you may swap to any playable character (if you unlocked them already) and use the obtained/ unlocked weapon at will (expect for rosa), not like on bayonetta 1 where every playable character needs to be played on a separate save file with the frustration that you need to unlock/ obtain all the weapons again.

Is the Star Mercenary skin for cosmetics only? Or does it affect gameplay? For instance, does it deal more damage than the normal costume?

It's not just cosmetic. 1st - yes, it does a lot more damage by itself. You may check chapter 11, where I used her default and StarFox skins. As a referent point look at combo score of PKP combo (if you didn't know, in bayo2 damage = combo points) 2nd - it removes damage fall off from range (damage is fixed) 3rd - for example Jeanne's PPKKK combo: if you hold last kick to shoot, damage is miniscule in default skins, and pretty high with starfox skin. 4th - again PPKKK combo. Seems like bullets have some autoaim, so not only damage is higher, but more bullets hit your target. 5th - around the same timing Rosa shoots her bullets, airwing guns start shooting 2 times more bullets, which also affects damage.

Да, потому что ну его нахуй. После первой главы на вэри хард я понял, что ритм составляющая как-то не моё. На харде я не почувствовал какой-то разницы в таймингах, но дал второй шанс. Дошел до 3 главы с этими парированиями и решил, что нахуй это дерьмо. Даже если предположить, что всё там в порядке с битами, то я тупо физически не попадаю в них. И я видел, что в дальнейших боссфайтах есть подобные моменты, только еще сложнее. И не, сорян, я это физически не вывожу

I disagree. Bayo2 is very concentrated game, yet it still takes about 3h10min to beat. Bayo1 has some long and annoying travelling, backtracking sections and gimmick sections. Yet it still takes around 3h30min to beat. On the other hand Bayo3 takes around 4h15min mostly because a lot of time you literally waste on useless running through enormous empty spaces and cancer minigames. If we remove this crap, I believe, Astral chain 2 is even shorter than Bayo2

@@Bruoxon0Strangely I think Bayo 2 has the least interesting weapons in the franchise gameplay-wise. The "slow but powerful" weapon type isn't for everyone, and the best weapons in the game are this way. If you enjoy fast weapons like I do, there isn't much choice other than the guns, Rakshasa and Shuraba... Maybe Kafka and Alruna, but they suffer what is to me the main issue within the game's new weapons (except for LiB), combo variety. I get that they're gimmicky, but Kulshedra is Bayo 1 had more use, and you couldn't even equip it on the feet.
