***** Well, i just used it, since is the first "buzzword" that came into my mind to descripe every looney who takes games FAR to serious like that, im sorry to have rubbed you the wrong way with it. This was the last thing i intended. I just looked up some Bayonetta footage to get myself hyped up for the WiiU release and read some outrageous reviews online, reviewed some of Bayo 1s cutscenes and laughed pretty hard that it actually debunks most of their claims of it being "just about the sexism", because despite being a leather (hair) wearing domina, Bayonetta is one of the best role models you could get...well, minus the killing and stuff :P

I'm a lady and I never once thought this game was sexist. I think she's an awesome character, not just cause she's a sadistic badass (that's icing on the cake) but she's fricken strong witted. It would be sexist if Luka told her to get back in the kitchen and make him dinner

Unpopular opinion... I don't find Jennifer Hale as that much of a talented VA as people make her out to be. Her roles have always been "generic woman voice" apart from a few roles she had in cartoons where she exaggerates her vocals--and generic woman Bayonetta is not. Yes, she may have a larger and more impressive resume, but Hellena's few performances as Bayonetta are much more memorable and iconic than nearly all of Jennifer's roles combined.

For once, seeing the comments made my day. for the longest time, I thought a lot of people were disdainful of the bayonetta story. I mean, granted, it's not the most important element of the game, but aside from the length of the opening and pre-balder cutscene, I really don't get what's not to like.
