I interpret this song as loving someone so much but also knowing that he/she can never be happy if that person ends up with you.... Basically you want your love to be in a better place than to be with yourself.... The singer is suppressing his feelings but struggling at the same time as he loves him/her so much.

I love how you comment on the drum fill panning from left to right because that's an underappreciated thing in rock music. Great producers design the mic setup around the snare so that it's centered in the audio and so that stuff on the right side of the kit naturally pans slightly to the right and vice versa. When it comes to 808s and other electronic drum mixers, a lot of musicians don't take the time to do that so everything sounds like it's obviously electronic instead of having that distinct analog production style.

With Ben’s new band members, they haven’t lost a beat. You should react to their last album, which all the videos to it are fire. They actually have a trilogy story to 3 of their videos. A good one for your first reaction is “Red Cold River.” It will blow your mind.

Breath is probably my all time favorite BB track besides Dear Agony. Love this band since "So Cold". And was hyped as fuck when they made a track for Halo 2. Still solid to this day.
