amazing blues guitar duet between legendary BB King and irish blues/rock player Gary Moore same video than the other , but the sound came from the CD track
RIP B.B. King (September 16, 1925 - May 14, 2015), aged 89 And RIP Gary Moore (April 4, 1952 - February 6, 2011), aged 58 You both will be remembered as legends.
it's amazing how gary moore controls the volume of his guitar and shows the respect he has for bbking... it's the best version of this song! rest in peace
This is one of my favourite interactions between two of my favourite players. I wont call it a "duel" , coz it isnt - its more a conversation between friends. Watching this always brings a smile to my face. An amazing show from Gary Moore - he was one of the best, and the one guy I wanted to see perform , but alas, he never really traveled to Australia.. May they both RIP in Blues Heaven.
Yeah, not a duel at all, more a duet or as you wrote a wonderful conversation! 😊 Technically it’s a challenge response thingy what they did! For me as a music lover it can’t get much better as in this video, it is absolutely amazing! 🤩
first time seeing this video. FANTASTIC!. Never saw Gary but saw BB. at fox theater in stl. with buddy guy ,Etta James and Eric Johnson. AMAZING SHOW . I was totally amazed with the show and the connection between the audience. EVERYONE was having a blast.
You could live to be a hundred years old and not ever see a finer performance, two true Masters at work just having a whole Lotta Fun!!! RIP Guys, you earned it.
Two total legends with 100% respect for each other. The most entertaining and perfect rendition of BB's signature number. Bloody marvellous. Anyone spot Peter Green's Les Paul?
Ok its true that I may be tripping while writing this comment, but the conversation they have to each other through their guitars is so amazing, they're literally dancing with each other with their music and guitars bro omg wow
They really listen very well to what the other is doing! And the contrast between the two playing styles is very clear and works great together! Love it!
He was a genius yet never got the international recognition that he so truly deserved. Gary Moore a true Master. This rendition witj BB King was an absolute gem.
The smiles on these guys faces at the end says it all. The smiles on the back-up vocalists in the background. Cleary, Gary was genuinely honored to the core. No surprise there ..it's BB King. There must have been a point in his life that he couldn't have imagined that one day he would be performing on the same stage as him. Trading licks to "The Thrill is Gone" for crying out loud. With the legend himself. BB let him know how appreciative he was of Gary's interpretation the hit. WOW What a treat. I love this video. Special night/performance. What a mood changer. Would've loved to have been there. Could you imagine the energy in the room?! Thank God they captured this on video for the rest of us. R.I.P. to these two greats.
They had a whole conversation with just their fingers. The look on BB’s face proved it was a good one! Loved this. Now I’ll be watching it 57 more times today! 😀
God I wish I could have been at this show...you just don't have to many of these guys left anymore...I mean you have some young cat's that are carrying the flame of the blue's but it's still just not the same...we all sure miss you Gary and BB....🎸🎸🎸
It doesn't get much better than this, if you are a blues fan. The Legend B B King and Gary Moore who also had great talent in playing blues music. I had the privilege to hear B B King live in Copenhagen 1981. Amazing performance.
@@craigmack-cv3cp nah, mechanically I think every person with just a bit of knowledge knows how gifted G. Moore is compared to B.B. There's an ocean between them in terms of skill, not sure you understand tho?
I I met bb king in Boston on a booze cruse and what a show he put on. He played with Brian Templeton and I will never forget he took my hand and called me Estelle. My name is Esther. Love it
Hello! How are you doing today, please pardon me for intruding into your privacy but I just wanted to know if you’re a fan ? Have a great day… Stay Safe!
Two king's doing "the thrill is gone" absolutely magnificent, I bow my head down and feel extremely humble listening to this masterpeace. Rest in peace guy's! 🙏 😎
The most cultured guitar dialogue of all time. It is amazing that it complements two completely different stylizations and sound articulation. It was probably due to the love and joy of playing. Wonderful.
