The reporter was quite right in saying that many Lebanese have mixed feelings. They obviously don’t want war, but many hate Hezbollah, just as they hated the PLO, and were grateful to Israel when they drove them out of Lebanon. The PLO were only in the Lebanon because the King had driven them out of Jordan. Most decent people don’t want terrorists living in their midst’s, turning their country into a failed state, and radicalising their sons.

Watch the footage of the Iranian missiles being destroyed in the air by Israeli defence. Most were destroyed, but there was a VERY wide spread of them indicating that they weren't too concerned with Israeli civilian collateral. Were it not for Israeli defence I think the Israeli civilian body count would have been significant. I'm not an Isaraeli apologist, but to claim that the Iranians weren't targeting Israeli civilians is being economical with the truth. They might not have been targeting civilians, but the direction and spread of those missiles suggests they weren't too fussed where they landed.

@@nlewin5072 A lot of the rockets were just fired to occupy the defence systems, to allow other missiles to get through. There is no way to say they were definitely aimed at civs. We know that the Mossad HQ was a target as well as air fields.

Emma's interview reminds me of the Julia Hartley-Brewer interview of Dr. Barghouti (Palestin leader) which was equally obnoxious and biased. When a politician is asked about Israel's killing spree, I imagine them going into some sort of quasi-religious trance and chanting in a drone like voice "Israel has a right to defend itself!!" while in full self flagellation......
