BBC North and South soundtrack - Track 3: Thornton's Walk 

I just watched North and South recently and ended up watching it 3 times in a week. I did not think any production could eclipse Pride and Prejudice, but the quality, acting, and music of this BBC adaptation surprised me and I fell in love with it. Plus this song is my favorite out of the soundtrack :-)

It is so hauntingly beautiful that it makes me want to cry.

Oh my lawd, Richard Armitage was PERFECT as Thornton. PERFECT. My favorite three scenes (and coincidentally his favorite scenes, too) were when he proposed to her, where he was watching her ride away, and the final scene. O.M.G. His acting was just excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent!!! I can't decide whether I like N&S or P&P better, they're both so amazing!

the most handsome man I've seen my entire life! is "Mr. Thornton"....amazingly aristocratic and mysterious.

Though I don't like videos with photos only but this one's done very well. The track's obviously superb. Been listening to it all day.

Martin Phipps created the soundtrack for Persuasion also, he is a genius: Putting just the right music/emotion with magical images is pure art. Thank you. I am enjoying being a subscriber... I really hope BBC releases a compilation soundtrack with all of Martin Phipps movie scores on it..I really love Sense and Sensibility and Persuasion also but they have yet to release any music :(
