My goodness, what memories! I remember going to Kings Kettle, the cups and pencils and hats oh me... nothing like growinh up in Scotland, the culture was second to none back then
I feel nostalgia watching this clip! It brings back so many childhood memories!! I was born in Glasgow but I grew up in Somerset, England for most of my life (Have just moved back). Myself and my wee sister use to watch the episodes, oor Gran use to record the episodes and oor Auntie , God rest her, bought us the series on VHS. Thank you Singing Kettle!😁x
Loved these guys. My moment of fame: getting picked to go onstage in Aberdeen when they sang 5 little ducks, still got a photo of me dressed in the costume :) Thank you so much for uploading, brought back quite a few memories!
I used to love this! Great memories. My rellies from scotland used to send us videos. I think we were some of the only kids in Australia who watched this!
Just heard on the news that they're hanging up their kettles in the new year!! :( I love them , our kids still get nostalgic , oldest is 30. Cilla and Artie will be sadly missed.
I saw them live today, still hilarious as ever lol Kevin is the funniest, he offered me some fake "bogies" in the Jock the Chef sketch. I saw them when I was little and to take my daughter to see them is fantastic. Artie was a little bit impatient with some kids though.
I met Artie last weekend. What an absolute dick head! My kid has adhd and as a result ran to the side of the stage. As a result Artie grabbed him, pushed him round and shoved my kid away making my kid stumble. Also later on I found scratched on my kids shoulder where he had been pushed. Artie had been wearing a wrist watch. He's past it and should just give up and let Funbox take over.
Truely amazing, I also had this on video, I was a huge fan back In the day, used to watch the tapes soooo much! Thanks for posting mate, amazingly nostalgic!!!
Its Jamie Davies can you tell me again please that you love your own personal space and love having time to yourself just the same as me please reply back yes you do Rebecca Poulter mate.
i remember this when it was first broadcast on bbc1 - my daughter loved it ans when we got the video it was a top favourite, she is expecting a baby herself now so i cant wait to share the singing kettle with my grandchild!
@McRagga1980 1980???? This was well after your time. Grow. The. Fuck. Up. You would have been at least 10 when they started. You're Scottish, you should have been on the buckie by 10.
