Street food style BBQ tofu is one you're gonna wanna make! Loaded with flavor and toppings to make anyone a tofu believer. An Indulgent delicious new way to prepare tofu that hits all the spots.
I think this may be one of my favorite recipies ever. I've made it 3 days in a row now and would make it again tmrw but I've run out of ingredients haha
Haha😹 Good luck! I almost exclusively shop at Grocery Outlet, (and local farms), so that's admittedly where I first encountered a Wicked Kitchen product.. I sure like that flavored tuna pouch and feel fortunate to be getting it in my price range. Of course these videos are also great!
Hands down the best tofu I’ve ever made or had. AND it gave me the bbq flavor I was craving (with the summer smell of bbq grills in the air). Thank you!
I know it looks like this video is like 2 years old but it just came up on my feed. I just got a bunch of stuff from the store including tofu and wondered what I was going to have for dinner and now I know that looks amazing! But I'm going to use my daughter's homemade barbecue sauce because it is incredible. So happy I saw this video.... Dinner done! 💖
Yippee, welcome back!! My mouth was watering watching this. I love tofu and I'm so grateful for all the different and easy ways to prepare it that you've shared with us.

I just appreciate you two so much. I share your site, even with meat eaters, because your food has such great flavor (I have learned to cut down the heat a smidge). Thank you for sharing your creations. I did find 2 of your wicked sauces (Mango (with a kick), and a BBQ sauce) Mango was a bit spicy but add a tiny bit of Kite Hill sour cream and yum for the 'baby mouth'.
Yay! Hey hi hello, welcome back, glad to have more recipes and videos from you guys🤗✨ This tofu looks delicious, will have to make this for my dad who loves BBQ. 🌱💕✨
I believe it’s garlic and onion granules, and granule is pronounced gran-yool. The recipe looks great and one day, when I visit England, I’ll be bringing home some of your Wicked spice blends (if they let me).
Yes, did it too. It is not that the other guy does anything wrong, it is more that the recipes are a bit fancy or so. Dereks recipes meet my taste and the regulare kitchen doing better. I learn so much 🧐👍 Welcome back 💖👌💖
Nice! I wonder how this would work with tofu that I've frozen and thawed out a few times. I might try chunking up the tofu after that and using this cooking and spice method. Thanks!
Paul Butler: I was kind of thinking the same thing .. or cutting it in half and frying the heck out of it. No matter how you mask it, I just can't seem to appreciate tasteless tofu.
I’ve seen recipes which actually call for freezing and thawing the tofu a couple of times to improve the texture. Most notably Mary’s Test Kitchen’s tofu fried chicken recipe.
This is soo good. Wicked good. I've been making this at least 1x month, usually more, since I found it. 6 months. Seemed challenging doing the DIYs at first. Now, I have the system DOWN.
HECK YES!!!!!!! Needed this recipe!!! Just bought And poured through your cookbook….I love reading cookbooks…I read one per day…at least!!! Can’t wait to try this babaaaay. !!!!! Peace and plants from Canada. ❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️
@Wicked Kitchen I just subbed. I love tofu and I am always looking for new ways to prepare it. So I was really impressed with your various tofu recipes.
In the Southern US, we make a dish called Pimento Cheese. You all may as well. It consists of Cheddar Cheese, Mayo, and Roasted Red Peppers (Pimento) served on white sandwich bread. As I was watching this all I could think was he’s combined two southern delicacies: BBQ and Pimento Cheese. Although, the topping is somewhat different it further replicates the dish with the Panko standing in for the white bread. Wonderfully creative and I’m sure even more delicious.
I used cooking sherry with the green beans. Fucking magical. I make this recipe a couple of times a month now. I became a pescatarian in august and this is hands down my favorite dish
Not this one, I just thought of it. The videos you just changed from, if I'm not mistaken I believe you said you felt like you were being 'not yourself' or like you weren't being real. Honestly I've seen this more than once and you can do as you are called but don't you think being entertaining and making things up to entertain people has value?? Honestly being entertain may be a part of what has kept me going.... I like your videos either way as a pescatarian 😂 I mean we know anyway sometimes what I'm looking for 😊 anyway lol namaste 🙏 brother
I need the remix of the playing of the tongs! lol. How do I purchase the wicked kitchen spices and mayo in the states? I would like the water heater too. Can't wait to try this recipe!
this looks delicious!!! The only thing is that the green beans needed more love: I always add olives, picante salsa, sweet relish, salt, and pepper to my veggies. Sometimes I also add onions, garlic, bell pepper, and celery to the veggies as well.
FYI (and you might already know this by now), if you bring a kettle back to America it will be way slower to boil than it is in the UK! USA has different voltage over there :)
I have written before about how this is my favorite meal of all time. Still. Here's a delicious use of the crust mixture. Smear it on roasted corn. The green onions with the corn. Fantastic!
Could do with the written recipe, kind of hard work trying to follow just the video..had a go and enjoyed the food, used some left over cauliflower and cabbage in place of the beans, worked well
Please consider purchasing a silicone handle for your all of your cast iron, then you won't have to worry about burning your hand! It just slides right on the handle, like a sock ion a foot. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Wicked Kitchen is the best vegan range in supermarkets in U.K. and is affordable. I love many of their products and for me being vegan 6 years when I first went vegan we had none of this yummy stuff I feel very blessed Thankyou!
