BC Ferries Tour: Vancouver To Victoria Sailing and Buffet 

This is the first time I'm watching a video of yours. First thing I've noticed is how much of a respect gentleman you are. Thoroughly enjoyed the video :) I'm also from Vancouver!

Wonderful ferry with delicious looking buffet!

I remember when I was 9 years old, our parents traveled to Victoria. I had an amazing experience. First off, the sea was beautiful. Later, we went to the buffet. The foods are so good that my parents finish one plate in less than 5 minutes!

You made me look forward to the ferry ride as much as looking forward to seeing our family in Victoria! Great video, thank you!

Excellent tour of the ferry, which I have enjoyed several times, as I was able to live on the island with my family for a few years.

I remember trying out this buffet for lunch a couple years ago before COVID-19 hit us. It was a great buffet. I really miss it. I was surprised at the decadent cakes they had offered! In fact, I like all the items. For $20, it was a steal of a deal especially on a ferry.

Fantastic video! I'm planning a trip to Vancouver in September and booked a trip on the Coastal celebration ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. I plan to do walk on without a vehicle. This video makes me even more excited. I can't wait to take in all the scenery. I haven't been on a BC Ferry in over a decade.

Been on that ferry so many time when my parents were alive and always took in the buffet mostly breakfast one, except when the Okanagan Sun Football team cleaned the buffet out, they did not make enough food and closed early.

Lucky to have that ferry service. So this is ferry and not a cruise? Or were passengers returning to the ferry after a few hrs in Victoria? I wish we had this in ON. BC Ferries certainly have improved since the 80s. Back then they served sandwiches and a few other items from a small snack bar.

make sure you are on the ship 'Coastal Inspiration'. It has big windows and the view from the buffet dining room is spectacular. Food average.

I've taken the ferry once but I didn't know there was a buffet??

People should be warned that if they use their hand to pick up any kind of food from the trays will be kicked out of the Buffet, this is wrong. Contamination by people touching the food is a big source of food poisoning, besides how do we know if the culprit wash his or her hands after going to the restroom? After you help yourself, then you can touch the food in your plate as much as you want.

Totally wrong. When the ferry arrives you are in Sidney not Victoria, its called SWARTZ Bay. The other Terminal is TWASSEN>

NO You amateur THE food will be cold on your plate before you can enjoy eating it. Go back for more hit food when you're ready. Don't rush

Annoying, loud music! Appreciate the video, but try to have subtle background music.

Many times there are some very disrespectful people that don't care about spoiling other people's good time: I hear a baby crying and nothing is been done about it, this is disgraceful, their parents should have the decency to leave and change the baby's diapers or maybe the baby is sick and they care less, or the baby is hungry and they care less …. are they so stupid that don't see that the baby has a problem to be taken care of and at the same time they don't see that they are ruining the buffet for everybody else??? THERE ARE OTHER ISSUES such as people serving themselves much more than the eat and leaving a lot of food that goes to waste …. they should be penalized for this, they should pay extra for what they leave in their plates. Or people that destroy the food that its been displayed for everyone enjoyment, by using their hands instead of utensils or just sneezing and coughing on top or pushing and destroying the presentation. The buffet supervisor should have some authority to approach them and make them aware or even kick them out in cases that are extremely disruptive. There should be a minimum norm of conduct to keep the place relaxing, peaceful, clean, safe, so every decent person could enjoy the Buffet. You can't educate people in ten minutes, but you could in-force the rule of conduct that everyone know or should know. Fortunately these tugs are just a few punks, but still can make the environment very unpleasant for most people.

I did enjoy the BC Ferry last time. However, your video has a lot of food, not much on the way scenery. A bit disappointing!😏

Another good buffet review! But yikes Tim please do NOT use your bare hands to touch the food. If you know better, don’t say “why not.” Kids watch your videos too and we can’t teach them bad habits.

I do like your videos, but am very disappointed in you when you used your fingers, it's very disrespectful of you, especially for someone that has as many buffets as yourself.

That's a lot of animal suffering on one plate. Can't believe people still eat like this in this day & age.
