We install and review the BC Racing BR Type Coilovers on our Ford Focus ST!
The BC Racing BR series coilovers are the perfect choice for street driving with a dash of weekend warrior track action. Featuring easily accessible adjustment knobs and separately adjustable ride height, the BR series makes adjusting and maintaining your performance coilover system easier than ever. Ride height is independently user adjustable so you can dial in the exact look to reflect your driving style and performance needs. BC’s patented concave lower locking ring keeps all adjustments locked in and ready for precise predicable feed back in any scenario. BR series coilovers provide a strong, complete and attractive coilover system at a great price.

I just found out I have these on my car. How easy is it to adjust them?

Are they the std kit or ultra low? Like the fact they are have a good quality ride. Probably down a lot to the fact they are body adjustable and not spring adjustable. Great review.

I just put these coilovers on my focus st mk2 and they are really great! The only problem is that sometimes they make a “ knock” noise AFTER I leave a bumb.. Do you have any ideas about what’s could be wrong with the setup?

Hey! Couple of things I've noticed when putting on any aftermarket coilovers. Check these things.. First and most likely would be the lower lock rings, both on the height adjustment and the spring pre-load adjustment. Next would be front swaybar end link's, just make sure those are tight, and then last would be the top hats. Make sure the center nut is tight, and then make sure the camber adjustment bolts are tight and then of course the nuts that attach the coilover to the strut tower. Now, I should note that every time I install coilovers, I always go back under and check the lock collars, and about 90% of the time, I usually have 1 or 2 that are just slightly loose. But once you get it the 2nd time, I never see them loosen again. Hope this helps! Thanks, Rick
