BD-61, Cable and Pulley Assembly | Valor Fitness 

I was dreading this part of the install. Not so bad. Would have been IMPOSSIBLE without this video.

So they changed the double pulley bracket but there's no updated video to show how that works and the link in the new instruction manual still brings you here. That's cool.

Helped a ton, thank you! Only feedback is maybe mention something about the two way pulley attachments on my machine look different than the one in this video. Probably a newer or older model.

There is no double pulley bracket. That part has changed

At time 4:56 is where I have a major problem. Both round pully balls are the same size which looks like I have to do some kind of trimming 🤦🏽‍♂️

Glad company added this video because paper instructions are bad. Bought mines in June and didn’t have this video but another one. No excuse now.

What are the pulley sizes on the machine or where can I find the instructions to download..i bought one 2nd hand and need to replace some and I am thinking about just upgrading them all to aluminum.

We looked at the instructions and they didn't have anything labeled but figured out what bolts went where .. tough at first but we got it... When we got the the pulley system the piece of paper was NOT helpfull... Haha guess that's why we're all here. Hooked it up first try watching the video and we're lifting already. Nice equipment, weights, and accessories. 10/10 recommend

Do not use wd40 it’s not a grease! USE “super lube multi purpose synthetic grease” literally made my machine usable after using it. Weight holder goes down now without any weight on it. Also for Lat pull down to hold yourself down I drilled two 7/8” holes on the middle beam and use a 7/8” diameter by 36” long metal rod. Bought some foam rollers from Amazon and can finally lift heavy on the machine. Hope this helps. Btw I also tried silicon spray but found the grease to work the best and stays working longer before you need to put more grease.

what size are the cable wheel pulleys?

New bd-61 has different parts when assembling the top section of the pulleys. This video doesn’t explain that. There’s a video from @madscientist06 that helped explaining that specific section.

just bought it and I got it, just a question. 1. when I pull the pulleys with no weight on I can literally let go of them when pulled out and they will just lay there and not go back in. 2. also where does the m8 65 screw go in?

Got mine all set up but when use it feels like the weight goes down slow could it be the pulleys to tight or sonething

Question....I have the first longer cable installed. Of course after getting it all the way through to the other side the cable wants to kink on the initial side in between the fixed pulley up top and the hanging pulley in the middle causing the two hanging pulleys to want to twist. Should I continue on and hope that when I fix the pulley that ties those pieces together at the bottom that it'll straighten itself out or should I rethread this and hope it doesn't link again. It's on little section that wants to twist of course.

Never would of figured it out from the directions, could of saved myself 1hr of headache just watching this first lol. We rolling smooth now.

Is there a preferred way to break it down for a move? Gotta get it thru a normal size door

Great video, the instructions was not very good when it comes to the pulleys but for the frame the instructions were good It would have taken much longer without this video. I am not sure what the tapping screw is for, but I used everything else. Also in the very back bottom behind where the weights are loaded there is a hole facing up, what is the purpose of this?

Receive mine yesterday, with a little adjustment and additional silicone lub it’s working smoothly and I enjoy working out with it. My question is does Anyone knows the pulley size? Might be interested in upgrading the pulley to all aluminum in the future.

I just ordered from VF. What size pulleys does it use and how many of each? I would like to upgrade to aluminum if possible. Thanks.

Ugh i have such a frustrating issue with this machine. when there is no weight on it doesn’t pull back plus when i’m doing movements it’s just not smooth at all. Please watch my latest video on this issue shown. Thanks

You never used some of the bolts... you used the M-40, M-70, M-75 but you never showed using the M-65’s ?????
