You are really pretty. I was an awkward person growing up. Im that person on your junior high, whom people loves to exclude... but i'm talented. Honestly, all i want is to have my song i wrote to be heard. So i invested time and effort to get in the crowd. Used the skills i didnt want to show off to be recognized. I'm persistent and passionate. But... I know we should care less about what others say to you. But if those words they say is destroying your opportunity to continue the only medium you have to express. No matter how persistent and determine you are... you'll still end up unheard. Until you get tired of even knowing why this is important. Why you are here in the 1st place.
I always rewatch this video because it's not only one of my faves but to remind me that anything is possible and I can always improve even on the little things. Happy New Year and love you always.
Hi Lauren, thank you SO MUCH for these videos. They are full of energy. Highs and lows are mentioned here too, so it is so nice to hear that not everything is perfect, we are not perfect. Lot of people can talk about it and be like, yeah I am not perfect and I´m fine - but actually they still don´t feel confident and they are giving up or don´t know what to do with those thoughts, so it is so nice to listen to something like this. "Fake it till you make it" for me it means that no matter how good of a person you are there would still be people who would judge and condemn you with out knowing the real you, most especially in the work place or school where you would always be with these toxic people what you have to do is just be nice to them no matter what and do what you have to do to achieve your goals.
Love this interpretation of it man! It is very true and it's also important to remember that those people clearly have their own issues to work through which have nothing to do with you, therefore, it isn't worth absorbing any negativity and send only positive emotions in their direction. And I'm so curious to know more about how canadians deal with that, If they usually all speaks both languages? :) I met this summer some people from Quebec and they can speak English so well ! So, I'm so curious about Canada and his bilingual culture :)
