Do you have any tips for understanding The Book of Revelation? I have finished the Pentateuch, Book of Job, and obviously the Gospels and The book of Acts but I am afraid I don’t know where to start with regard to The Book of Revelation.

Jesus said to ASK for the spirit. You don't command God to give it to you. Say something in the form of a question to our loving father like Please Father in the name of Jesus may I have the anointing of your Spirit ?

Beautiful. I live by this each day. One consideration. The genitive difference between the Greek and Hebrew that you mention. I believe the genitive in Latin was largely ignored when the bible was translated into English, this producing many sentences with obscure meanings. Have you considered for example the phrase "How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” What if the Holy Spirit was genitive - the phrase would become "How much more will your heavenly Father give OF the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

can i pls ask - i am not following Jesus yet, i dont know Him, i just know ABOUT Him...I always believed in the God the Father but all my life had a hard hard heart against Jesus....but i want to believe.....i rly do......i want to have a new heart and die to my sinful man who makes me do what i dont want to do,,,a slave to sin....i want to believe Jesus, i m not sure if I do...but God has done miracles for me already...i want to say YES to Him while I'm still alive....does this counts / can be to get water baptized? is just i cannot do baptism if in order for that i must already be a believer and follower of Jesus,, I am not,,,, since childhood i have been fond, for the lack of a better word, of Father, but always rejecting the Son...however the bible speaks about how we must accept the son, or, sorry not accept- believe!!! We must believe Him....i would love to...i know there is urgency as well, i have seen the vision of door not wide open anymore...would it be correct to get baptized? idk where and by whom yet, I will pray about it,,i dont want to go in water and come out- just wet- but same heart...I'm scared that maybe that will happen coz my heart is not right with Jesus at all... i just wanna do baptism, to go into that symbolic death and resurrection to show God and Jesus that I want to belong to Him and become His child...pls share any advice? i dont want to waste time and postpone but also dont want to do it, if my current state of heart/mind is not right for the baptism...i am not sure if I believe in Jesus but I am super sure, that i want to believe and belong to Him!

Bro, you shouldn't monetize the word of God. With the whole members only access... That really pains me to see.

I'm not am polarized by the fact that the Bible says we are evil because we are evil. That has been established throughout the entire Bible. Jesus did not die because I was tired or had a bad day. So, if I was born evil, I have nothing more I can impart to my children than what I have. So, if I have a problem with this truth, then that speaks of my pride, and that becomes my problem. What is more polarizing would be to soften biblical truth so as to make me or anyone else comfortable because the death of Jesus was not comfortable. The Holy Spirit of the Old Testament is the same as the Holy Spirit of the New Testament. The only difference was that when Jesus died, he ripped the veil between God and man, so we could come boldly to the Father and ask for infinitely more than we could before the veil was ripped. The Holy Spirit is still the same, but he is available to us in a much bigger way. The Spirit now comes to comfort us and lead into all truth because of Jesus, we now have full access to the father. Jesus told us all of this in full, in my opinion, nothing in these truths discredits Jesus or Peter. JESUS who is the blood over the mantle of our souls made all these questions and concerns completely satisfied in my mind. To take a n arm chair position like this only causes confusion and marginalize scripture as sound, therby questioning God ability to sustain biblical accuracy, that is disturbing to me. Maintaining the bible as complete and trust worthy source is as important as any other source or figure in the Bible, The Bible is the embodiment of its entire sum and total of everything that we call scripture. So, if the he Bible in its entirety is not accurate or is inquestion, then everything written within comes into questions, including Peter and, most importantly, Jesus!
