Welcome to the Be Ice Cream Or Be Nothing family channel! We're so happy you're here. I'm Ryan, co-host of our RU-vid show, Be Ice Cream Or Be Nothing. The other co-host? Well that's my daughter, Raegan aka Rae! Rae and I have been making ice cream together practically since she was born. We first started making ice cream together on via Instagram stories in March 2018. We then started doing videos on IGTV in September of 2018. Then a friend of mine recommended we start a RU-vid channel to do our videos and in November of 2018 we released our first RU-vid video!
Be Ice Cream Or Be Nothing is here to encourage families to get in the kitchen and make memories with their kids. We believe something special happens in the kitchen when families get together and create something. Whether it's making dinner, baking a cake or making ice cream, there's a reason the kitchen is so sacred in many homes around the globe. The kitchen is universal and the act of creating and preparing food for others is a language that has been understood since the beginning of time.
Why ice cream? Because we love it! Growing up in Upstate, NY there was no shortage of incredible ice cream to try throughout every season. It wasn't until 2015 when I realized I could probably make ice cream on my own. My wife and I got a little ice cream maker (the same one we use today) and I started trying all sorts of recipes! In 2017 our friends at Journey Coffee wanted to start selling our ice cream and we then invested into a commercial ice cream maker and turned Be Ice Cream Or Be Nothing into a business! While I love making ice cream for others I have a real passion to encourage others to make ice cream themselves at home with their family. Our family has a blast doing it and we want you to do the same.
Not sure how to make ice cream? Rae and I will teach you! Subscribe to our channel and check out all of our ice cream videos. All of our videos are educational and I think pretty entertaining :-) As you'll see in the trailer we make a lot of messes together. Most of recipes have been vetted before but as you'll see sometimes we make things brand new, hoping it turns out great! No matter the outcome we always have a blast together because I believe if you're going to create something with your family you've got to have fun doing it.
