We have one just like that, a little different, and we have a Midland "All Hazard NOAA Weather Radio" which is wonderful. It will go off if the National Weather Service puts up a watch or warning. Thank you a God bless!

This kind of information is incredibly useful in subtle ways. I only have humidity sensors and internal/external thermometers but they very handy. Most of the time you are getting the weather report from "your location" its really just the weather from the nearest connected meteorological post, or merely an estimate based on scaling. I live twenty miles from the sea so my local weather is really from a coastal station which is always very different. (higher winds, higher rain, higher humidity) Just taking a look at your exact local weather data is handy if you are heading out for say hiking and camping: You have a ballpark estimate of daytime and night-time temps, and how cold its going to feel based on how damp it is. Once you start gathering this information it really does turn out to be valuable intel for your day-to-day life.

Yes, mounted on the rear, next to the camera. I leave it on and have traveled over 1,000 miles with it in place with no issues. If a weather station can't handle a 70mph sustained wind... Its probably junk. This one has been great.

Thanks for video. I thought I had perfect spot to mount it but it says not to mount >6.6 feet off of the ground. Now must replan. Is this because pressure measurement could be inaccurate if mount too high?

Just set this one up here on my homestead. Reason I chose this was it used WIFI but not finding any app for my smartphone? I did go through the setup connected to my smartphone ok but would you know if it supports using a app to display screen on a smartphone?
