Beg to differ Mam. You are possibly talking about officers. I have been fortunate to be able to experience policing very closely because of in the family of police officials, IPS and SI level as well as family friends and friends also. But real life interaction as a common man with cops has been torturous, humiliating and condescending. Almost in 90 pct of the occasions. Why would an agency of 'We the People' be given so much of raw, unrestrained power to use on 'We the People'? It's a systemic problem and has to be dealt in the system itself. Behaviour and manners while dealing with common man has to change. Can you work on that? You would require boss's insights, but if done, it would be a great achievement.
