It would be great to see these same reviews with an AM5 cpu for comparison reasons. Other channels are finding out that these coolers, although awesome with intel, leave a lot to be desired with AM5 which is no good for these kind of prices. I would love to see your opinion on this!

I have a dark rock pro 5 and amd 7800x3d. Works perfectly fine. Cinebench doesnt go over 80 degrees.

80 degrees to much.... I have the same CPU but I changed the DarkRock for a KRAKEN 360 (nomal) and droped to 56 and max 67 degrees.... @@Leon78536

Would not change much. There seems to be an issue with the tower as such reaching its limits of heat transfer ability. I am curious to see the Games Nexus cold-plate preassure profile.

Thanks for these videos. I have a 10y PC (except for rtx 3070) and I'm planning to get a new a new one. Noctua as far as I knew was the best fan and it's good to see more competitors

Great video! Now, I would love to see a video comparing the screwdrivers that come with the Dark Rock Pro 4, Pro 5, and the Elite. Or you could do something more useful instead, although I’m curious if the included screwdrivers with the Pro 5 and the Elite are the same. 😊

They both look great on the first sight, but they fail if used for AM5 processors due to the offset heat hot-spot. Also, I am missing Thermalright coolers (especially Phantom Spirit 120 for AMD and Frost Spirit 140 for Intel CPUs) in your chart. Keep going, there is still a lot to do. :) Be quiet coolers are great for super-silent builds. For high performance, there are cheaper options (or the immortal Noctua NH-D15 with an offset bracket).

Noctua says it only gets you 1-3 degrees less with the offset. I just ordered my Offset Kit but I don't think it will net me more FPS in games.

Nice review there! May I suggest a slight modification of the Silent Loop 2 AIO 360mm? I got this AIO cooler in August and thought, it could be improved upon. And the Be Quiet has the nicest support staff, I have ever contacted. They advised me to replace the fans on the radiator with their newest high-performance line-up fans, the Silent Wings 4 High-Speed. Those fans improve the cooling performance of the Silent Loop 2 quite a lot. If it's not too much to ask, would you consider re-testing the Silent Loop 2 with the Silent Wings 4?

As always a nice and thorough review! Could we perhaps request that you start doing sound clips? Both for the 100% and the noise normalised (like at 36dBa ie). Noise aint created equal and some fans that are "quiet" sounds horrible like the P12 Max just has that annoying bearing sound.

Nice performance! But I got another black NH-D15 for 80€ and ordered the 2nd time a free mountingkit for an old Noctua cooler. I Love how you can just buy a Noctua once and keep reusing it for ages in every new upgrade build. I was thinking of getting a DARK Rock Pro 4 for my Bequiet case and giving my Dad my Noctua. Now I hope I just win a new DARK Rock 5 :D

Reading just the spces I thought the 120mm Silent Wing 4 fan would have performed just as well as the 135 mm fan of the Elite so I was confused why the TDP was slightly lower. It seems the size of the fan still makes the difference despite the higher pressure of the 120mm.

Yeah, static pressure doesn't do anything for cooling, it's CFM that cools the fins.

I don't think that this cooler easili cool 320w and the dark rock elite is on the level of an 420 AIO. In many other tests this cooler has 96-93°c on 253W and thats more logic, i have a 420 AIO and i have 94-96°c on 320-330W.

i dont understand why your temp results for the arctic 360 is so low compared to others? gamersnexus and others have their alf 360 on the same performance or greater than the 280. maybe your sample is bad?

I send it back had te elite not that good in my system with 7800x3d and dont like The special fans. So back to my Noctua u12a with offset. I expected alot more from this cooler….. Also mine was not that Silent….. i still think that 12cm fans just sound better….

Great stuff but I don't see Deepcool Assassin & AK620, and Thermalright Peerless Assassin on your charts. Those are must test to maintain credibility in your statements when you say you got the best or that it has great value. Obviously you'd need to get your hands on them I understand that, but you should consider it.

Not recommended for AMD 7000 series.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had one for my 7800 x3d but only for 3 days then I chanched it for a KRACKEN 360 (normal) and the temprature droped down for more then 20 C° DarkRock Elite - around 80 C°

It would look so much better with a squared verison fan on it, like silent wings 4 pro. I hate that companys dont bother much about the way fan fits into the whole cooler design.Elite in my opinion is way worse, i get the design for airflow focus on it, but it just looks cheap and plastic. I preffered the old industrial metal look on dark rock 4.
