For this table I used a couple of my own techniques, the first one being that water ripple technique where you spray any clear varnish or glaze to get the film to stick to your surface and as it dries it heats up and crinkles the film forming an amazing texture! It also changes the color of the film from all the heat that is created. here are some links to the original videos of this technique:

2. • Textured Holographic B...
The second technique is the resin finger painting technique. I call it this because you literally use your fingers to paint in the pigments after spreading the powders where you want the colors to be. This is one of the best ways to have control over your resin, which is known to be super uncontrollable! You can decide how opaque or transparent you want the colors to be and where exactly they'll go and best part, it cuts down on waste by not having to use cups to mix the colors up into the resin separately! Link for the original video here:

For the trees that was my first time painting palm trees so I just kind of winged it lol. I had so much fun creating this table and I hope it inspires you to create in different ways! If you use some of these techniques please tag me so I can see your beautiful work and feature it on my story!!
I'd love to continue doing my work and any and all donations help greatly and appreciated beyond belief!

CBrinley Artistry well you did a fantastic job. I don’t know what it’s like on the east coast art in comparison to west coast art. Here with your work you’d definitely be able to sustain a studio. It’s so unique. I’m happy you think about me. You are a very special person. ♥️

This is the first time I came across your channel and THIS is a ton of AWESOMENESS👍. I’m SO glad I did because I have 2 glass top tables that I plan to transform with resin. I am super interested in how you did the ‘film’ process as it would cut out a lot of materials and time to achieve the same effect. Could you please tell me what the film is and exactly how to do it? I would be SO appreciative. I just love your little set of helping hands 👍🥰

Haha thank you so much! I actually posted links to previous videos that I did that give a little more instruction on how to get the effect. But basically just use any kind of clear Varnish like a lacquer or triple thick and spray the surface and or film (which is iridescent film I bought at Michael's) and lay it down. The film doesnt need to be flat, but it's better that it is for table tops so you dont have to use so much resin to get any even level. The more spray you use the bigger the effect but also the longer curing time. (I waited a week with this table top, but in previous videos only waited a day or so), but that's pretty much it, as the spray dries it heat the film and causes the ripples and cool color changes. I hope this helps!

Did you sand and polish the top or leave it as is? How scratch resistant is it? Very cool! Thank you for sharing!
