We will feature one or two of our avian species each day!
We kick off with our beautiful Keel-billed Toucans!
They naturally appear in Central and South America. One of our most tropical avian species, our pair remains in winter housing as we wait for temperatures to stabilize.
Their easily identifiable beak is actually quite light weight, consisting of hollow bone covered in keratin. They are primarily fruit eaters, enjoying a wonderful variety of fruits each day at Animal Adventure.
