An admirer of Colette's passion and work for so long now, I'd never seen this first video. So, in 2020 I begin! Wonderful to see how much Bealtaine Cottage and its sacred 3 acres have literally grown, under Colette's planting and continual loving care. One could say the results are miraculous, but it's truly down to Colette's energy and love for Mother Earth. Such a remarkable place and story; may it continue for many more years. I love the pitter patter of Jack's feet too - he's an integral part of the energy of the place and his spirit will never leave. How can there be 4 dislikes? Ahhh. Perhaps the video is not long enough. Perhaps the lights needed to be lit. Perhaps some want perfection of scale, beauty and production in every video they watch. I for one, absolutely love this video and shall hope to watch every video in this entire channel.
Hello! I just happened on your channel while watching one of my favorite RU-vidrs (Cooking with Brenda Gantt). The video I just happened to notice was "Making the most on very little". The thumbnail was beautiful, so I had to check it out! I was very happy to see it was Ireland!! While I did watch that video, I've decided to start at the beginning and watch the transformation. Your cottage is beautiful! I love all of the colors, nooks and crannies, and this and thats. It just seems like a wonderfully cozy place to be! I am going to enjoy watching this journey. I like that your voice changes too. In the current videos you are much much slower. Softer. Gentler. I noticed that straight away. So happy I found your channel. I immediately joined your blog as well. I became interested in permaculture a couple of years ago and I am trying my darndest to make at least one acre done in permaculture (we have 10). We live in Utah and it is a very dry area where we live. I love your home it just ooozes love. Thank you for sharing your home and knowledge with us. BTW my mother is 100% Irish! I have always wanted to go to Ireland but being in my 60's and refusing (continued in part 2)

I see you have many beech trees. Do you have tri-colored beech trees in Ireland? I had a gorgeous one that was 25 years old, they grow extremely slow, but it died in a June flood we had. It broke my heart.
Colette, I was drawn to you this morning as a gift from the Goddess to me (73rd birthday yesterday) In the wee hours 3:45 am, I awakened by a little mouse scratching. My blessing was to head out and as I have catch & release traps, I set it free. Results...my blessings & finding you. May I ask how I might find your Lady gnome hugging a mouse statue, Gnomes are special to my daughter, nickname Mouse.🙏👸🤗💝
