It really does seem to be the time for space marines, Jazza' Space Bears launch November 1st, Dungeons and Dreadnought's Cyber Samurai Dynasty launches October 27th, and DakkaDakka's Scylla Legion 2.0 also launch November 1st. What a time to be alive.
I’m the US we have to replace police K9s “fangs” (canine teeth) with titanium due to them getting ripped out either in training or service. Would be a neat touch on some of the bears fangs to show wear on them and the riders caring for them after a battle. Just an idea, love y’all’s work.
I mean in a world where belief makes things happen, bulky af armor can move as fast as a car, and chainswords are actually functional, a knife wielding cavalry doesn't seem too bad to me XD
7:29 That tip about highlighting the fur by illustrating the placement of the muscles is something I've never heard before. Definitely something I'll keep in mind, very helpful.
As cool as it does look, I would think a fairly small knife would just be a bad choice of weapon for a mounted warrior, especially one so high up on a massive bear
Some people are saying the knife is too short for mounted combat but I imagine the bear can grab enemies and throw them over it's head to give the rider something to do while the bear goes back to eating more enemies.
Hey TTT crew, can you guys please modify the power claw models so that you can have the options of having attached bolters and/or flamers so that double power claw terminators would be a viable option? Thanks in advance!!!
That paint job gives me an idea for a unit, the Golden Bears. As in the California Grizzly, now extinct, see California flag. A homage to my old ship, USS Sacramento(AOE-1), the Golden Bear.
Any one else notice the tiny piece of hair on the dagger? No judgment because it happens to my paint jobs all the time XD. Great model guys! Can't wait for what's next!!
Looks amazing. I cant wait to see the community's range of different color schemes on these guys! Looking forward for the next Space Bear video to DROP
Not that practicality has ever been a primary concern for 40K, but that chain-knife is too short for that Space Bear to hit anything from atop the bear. I guess the bear is the mount *and* the weapon.
Idk, i feel like the kitbashed space bears looked cooler, maybe because it fits more with 40k and it takes more effort for a unique result that fits in the universe.
I never knew I needed a giant polar bear!! Sign me up now lol. Are the bears by themeselves going to be made avialable? And if not will they have some type of compatability with other marines?
With the Voice referendum not passing TabletopTime are taking matters in to their own hands and representing the Indigenous cultures who have lived on our land for tens of thousands of years! So happy to see that Dave absolutely nails every time he pronounces Gunaikurnai and (Ojibewe Nation? sorry I don't know the right spelling), and is representing the Aboriginal culture of the studio's local nation respectfully in a hobby that he loves! If only the government had half the respect for Aboriginal communities that Tabletoptime has!
@@trevorsmith9985 ah, that's why i didn't recognise it as an Aboriginal tribe. That makes a lot of sense :D Still, I know that Dave and co are very much interested in the Aboriginal culture and heritage of their region
@@trevorsmith9985you've missed the point chief. More about inclusivity, representation , diversity (all that good stuff) and not ANOTHER Caucasian head.
Are we going to get any sneaky (or black) bears? Because the leviathan box has a special phobos lieutenant, and the space wolves codex has "hounds of morkai"
I would like to know why there are some that for some reason glue EVERYTHING before painting and because of that leave parts no painted since is impossible to reach, instead of gluing some parts that way EVERYTHING can be painted. I really do not know why since I am one of those that feel like every part has to be painted.
I like the knife as a backup weapon, but it's impractical as a mounted weapon. *This marine's primary weapon should be a halBEARd.* I'm fun at parties.
This is some great stuff but from what i can see that's not the base for a thunderwolf cavalry its way to big. So if possible could you have a bear on a normal thunder wolf base and see if its fits well. Cause right now the bear looks wayyyyy to big
How dare Murray make a “you’ll have to BEAR with me” pun but not stop of all momentum in the video just to point out that he just made a bear pun. It’s like he doesn’t understand the rules of making puns.
Love da bears would love to see a space criptid army created aka skinwalkers wendigos dogmen bigfoot etc if interested please let me know through comments
Since you're making your own models. I can assume you know that they are legally distinct, and in that case, why not create rules for them on One Page Rules' army builder?
