I’m 60 years old and I just bought my first bow. Grizzly 45 lb. I had a chance to pull one before purchase and I’m happy to see your review favors it! Thank you for your knowledge too. I’m in a big learning curve.
I got my first bow back in 1976. Brand new Bear Grizzly. It was beautiful. It did not have reenforced limbs. I shot that bow for years. Miss it. Cheers👍😎🇨🇦🏹
Thank you! I think I'm going to buy the grizzly 👍👍👍 Just difficult to have a good price, here in France, because Archery is not well represented.... Thanks again and sorry for my English
I had asked grizzly jim to do this exact side by side test thank you for posting this i was wondering how the two compared because the super grizzly is $100 more here in Canada. you probably picked the regular grizzly because its more familiar to you. I would pick the super grizzly just for the little bit of speed gain but mostly for the fast flight strings you can go with one or two strands less with a modern string material which creates i little bit more speed.

I’ll right I’m rooting on the super but it would not surprise me if you prefer the 67 over the 21. But most older things are built a lot better than the new stuff. Take care my friend God bless. 👍🏼🏹🇺🇸
hmm, looking carefully at that 1967 Grizzly, I think I see two layers of maple in the riser and the limbs, which does make it different from the new versions. Also on the new Super Grizzly, the layer of maple on the back of the bow is pretty thin, both through the riser section and in the limbs.
tod enjoy your reviews and info.. i have a 67 grizzly in great shape.. the ivory end tips do reinforce my vintage and i shoot a d97 fast flight on it,, thousands and thousands of shots,,, it removed all hand shock speed the bow up 8 ft per second.. it out shoots my new 2022 kodiak hunter. you put a d97 on the 67 it will step up to a super grizzly
