is bowers strictly a te? or is he someone that can line up all over the place? a player that might provide more value for the bears in the right now. basically, who is more special of a talent, odunze or bowers? the bears should consider how they can win sooner than later, especially while caleb is on his rookie deal. they can still grab a receiver at #75 or #122. my favorite arm-chair mock is - #1 caleb, #9 b.bowers, #75 d.sweat (can't pass on the value), and #122 b.rice/z.zinter/b.limmer (take your pick).

You know what i find amusing? There have been quite a few ppl that have said caleb hasnt faced enough adversity and use that as a negative but then you have JJ McCarthy who has only lost a couple games since high school and so many are like "this guy is a winner."
