Beast Boy becomes Garro The Conquerer In Beast World #1, Batman inspires him to be a hero again in Nightwing 112...Wally casually met Hermes in #9 of Titans, i'll be going over that hilarious panel on monday.
Kind of like a reverse of Captain America and Spidey moment from EMH show after the Skrull invasion. In fact, if Spidey could talk to BB, that'd be possibly the best person to get advice from in terms of public opinion.
given beast boy's usual taste in clothing, I'd actually think it would be pretty funny for him to decide to become the next Robin, and wear the tights and shorts and everything. He's already got a pretty flamboyant and colorful theme to his outfits, this really wouldn't be that big of a stretch. xD
The only thing that I don't love about BB is that it'll be hard to tell what exact species of bird (or species of anything) he is, if all of his forms are green/shades of green. Lol
I'm amazed how *evil* evil Amanda Waller has become over the years, Went from doing what's best for her country to the D.C version of Reverend Stryker from Marvel comics
yeah she got flandarized as much as i hate waller past iteration,i understand where she come from, the reasoning make some sense from a human employed by the government to keep the country save from metahuman threat nothing personal, just doing her job, albeit with questionable morality most of the time, hell even help said metahuman threat when needed for the sake of the country because thats who she serve this one feels like shes just ... evil for the sake of evil
@danang5 I hope we get some flashbacks because I like the idea of Waller slowly losing her mind and the little morals she had left as time went on and it seemed like nothing she did mattered.
@@thegamebusters5413 that would be more interesting than the cartoonish evil person masquerading as her right now, because this is not my Amanda Waller.
I mean in the DCAU she was like… doing the things she thought were right, she was definitely still doing a lot of questionable things. But she was also a character that would definitely be on the side of preventing disasters. Like she wasn’t diametrically opposed to the existence of superheroes *because* they are superheroes, she’s opposed to the JL because she thinks the group possesses a real threat, she is the response of news that in one timeline, Superman killed the President. So she tries to do what she can to make the USA capable against the JL.
@@samkeiser9776yes but after the whole Luthor/Braniac incident, she actually had the sense to question herself and even admit she could work with them. She had actually come around a bit.
I feel like a lot of people kinda forget about the man behind the mask sometimes. If you get what I mean. And kinda mainly focus on all the "prep time, 100 different types of martial arts, etc.."
@@yvesnox-fleuret I know it's dreadfully popular but it always stuck with me is that episode of the JLU where Batman comforts Ace. It's probably the most human he's been depicted, choosing to sit with a dying child so she's not alone... I wish there was more like that.
There's something magical about Batman talking to Any member of the Titans. I'm imagining Batman hacking into security footage from the other side of the country just to watch Titans fighting criminals. Overprotective dad mode.
And the Robin's know it and have pre-emptively told Cyborg to block all attempts at communication from Batman (except the one that's on the like ULTRASUPER IMPORTANT channel that he only uses when it's Crisis Time), because they know it's just Bruce calling up to give dadvice during the fight and No really thank you Batman we got it we don't need tips every five seconds.
A storyline with just Batman and the Titans would be so great for their characters. Just imagine the possible interactions between Raven and Batman. Girl needs a father figure.
@@goranisacson2502 He only knew that he could prevent the bat tips though, theres no way dad is letting the eldest run off on his own without dad making sure he's ok
The irony is that Frank is absolutely capable of comforting a child. It often comes off as awkward, because Frank isn't good at emoting unless it's sheer aggression, but he can do it. The problem is that Frank, like many comic characters over the years, has been brutally flanderized. The Netflix portrayal was actually pretty damn accurate to what his comic self was like for a time. But you have writers who take (the absolute worst aspects of) Ennis' portrayal and go full ham with it, and then you have writers who write Frank as a deranged serial killer/mass murderer who happens to target criminals, so they can justify their 'pure/righteous' heroes humiliating him. It's two extreme takes on a character who honestly has more nuance than that. As much as I dislike Ennis' writing, and believe he is horribly overrated, he still does one of the best portrayals of Frank ever (just don't let him write more mainstream heroes). My personal favorite is still THIS line: Woman - Why do you kill bad people? Frank - Because I hate them and I want them to die. Woman - Oh… I thought you did it to protect the good people… And Frank just has no response and has to think long and hard about it! Those tennants were the best supporting cast Frank has ever had, because they allowed us to see Frank Castle, the man who lost everything and still had to keep on living, and not just The Punisher, the man who lost everything and became a monster!
@@CupUhhJoI love seeing him be a dad to the Robins. I feel like a lot of ppl don't focus enough on the fact that Batgirl and the Robins are his *children*
I've been getting into comics of the rest of the bat family and a big part of it is because it's intersting when they are on the bad side of bruce. Oracle especially sometimes calls his shit out.
@@nahuel3433 The Bat Family really fixed Batman and made him a hero, mentor, and detective again more than just a damaged vigilante who hurts bad people (like The Punisher.)
@@CupUhhJo "Bruce Wayne" is just a façade. "Human" side is still Batman. Batman is not a mask, Batman is his real personality. Bruce Wayne is the mask.
Probably dick grayson Definitely a whole teen titans team up Cyborg hacking her mischief Raven supporting the team beast boy distracting waller Starfire main tanker Dick finds the big bad she’ll be working with
The problem with handling waller is that if they aren't careful, they could inadvertently cause a war between the heroes and the government. Basically, they have to wait for her to slip before getting her.
The same shit as our world. Media telling you who and what to hate. Distracts you so you remain controlled and docile. Just like the Russia/Ukraine war, just like the stupid Palestine crap, so on.
It would be Gar like to ask at the end to Batman.." Hey Mr. Batman, do you have a contingency plan for me? " ... ands Bats being like.. " What would you guess, Gar? " ..and walking away.. Then Gar being like " Awesome. " 😆
I can imagine it being a sort of rite of passage for heroes in the DC Universe. You aren't considered a 'Super'Hero until Batman has felt the need to put together a plan to remove you as a threat.
Batman: Pray. Garfield:...What? Batman: You can turn into a version of Superman's superdog Krypto and other terrifying alien life from beyond the stars and from Hell itself. All I can do is believe that you will know right from wrong. Can I trust you? Garfield:...In the past, I would have been hurt by that question. Now? I'm not sure. Batman: You are already earning my trust with that answer because I ask myself and arrive at the same answer every day. Stay true soldier. Nightwing (watching this conversation less than a yard away):...
It’s always great to have moments like this. It reminds us that there is a reason Bruce is up there with Diana and Clark, they all have different methods in crime fighting, but share the common love and care for people.
The Justice League used to be a family of sorts, but that wasn't edgy/realistic enough and they had to stop liking each other. Ironically the era ended around the same time Batman and Superman had Kids. 😅
I’ve been saying this every time I see a comic involving her. It’s not even a “the evil you know Vs the evil you don’t” moment because she’s consistently unpredictable and volatile. I say wax her and gamble on the person taking her seat being worse.
@hessen5498 so morbidly obese she is practically immune to all physical and ranged attacks, she also gets a 50% buff against any energy and chemical based attacks
I think something not talked about enough in hero media is the idea that while heros shouldn't have lives for recognition, getting recognized is a good thing. Knowing people appreciate what you do is a great moral booster. Imagine if spider-man didnt have as many positive encounters with people he saves, hed be left with only the vocal hate, I'm sure that would only be bad for Peter's mental state. With that in mind I think heros tell each other how integral each other were in saving the world is a healthy way to keep each other positive. Batman did a good thing talking to BB.
Yeah, I wish Media would let people actually enjoy being a superhero, there are other problems then "no matter what you do they'll hate you anyway" "Superheroes are The Real villains, clique"
Bruce when he returns to the watchtower: Just to confirm, Garfield Logan is an orphan with no legal guardian, right? The League: Hal: Don't tell me you're - Bruce: I am and I already signed the papers and told Alfred to make a Robin suit fitted for him
@@ASS-tb3mq You forgot RWBY. Though Superman is not far behind. He met some of the ones already mentioned and also Muhammad Ali and the Nesquick Rabbit.
@@ASS-tb3mq I'd be surprised if ATLA did a crossover with anything but I get what you're saying. It'd be interesting to see though, I'm sure him and Aang would bond over being pacifists. This may be controversial, but I'd wager Batman could solo the Fire Nation at it's peak.
@@danielmckay372 well considering Batman fights metahumans all the time and is suit is practically fire resistant not to mention the Batmobile would just take care of the fire nations tanks I’m sure he’ll be fan but yeah Aang would respect Batman for his moral code while Batman would be inspired by Aang achievements
The dialogue between Beast Boy and Batman would be great. Like Spiderman and Wolverine but less aggressive. And it would be cool to see Beast Boy learn how to be a detective from Bats.
Sadly the solo Batman stuff is still the Zur nonsense and whenever a justice league thing happens writers like to use Superman for compassion not Batman most of the time
A perfectly written Batman. This is why Batman & The Outsiders was such a great title for years- because Batman can be the best mentor with only a few lines of straight talk.
That would be so clean. I believe they did that in one of the Batman brave and the bold cartoon comics where beast boy and Batman team up to save the doom patrol.
that’s why Batman is the best because he knows and understands completely way and anybody else does everyone’s congested by their own gifts that they think they have been given to them by Cher unknown or just messing with stuff whatever the consequences it is met for the actions of every single person that some people understand deeply, some people don’t, but Batman truly does understandeverything to understand something becoming a great mentor. That’s a great ninja. Great fighter great warrior great he’s beyond a great soldier.
Beast Boy: "Come on, Bruce. Sure you understand my situation. After all, you can also transform into terrifying animals like snakes!" Batman: "WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! I CAN'T DO THAT!!!" Beast Boy: "Oops, wrong Michael Keaton character" 😅
"She was a collectivist born into a world that rewarded individualist effort." Amanda Waller isn't the person to gamble with herself. She's not the type to take the dangerous super serum, the experimental surgery or radioactive spider bite. She'd make someone else do it. She wants other people to do what she wants but won't do herself.
This is why batman is so needed in the DC universe. He's more than just some hero. He's the best a man can be, and that includes being a helping hand to those that need it.
I'm glad that they touched on how wise and authoritative Batman is, especially to the younger heroes. Superman is easily loved by the public, due to his beacon as hope, while Batman uses fear to his advantage and that can make the public be torn on him. So, Beast Boy being in a position that he's not used to, it makes sense that he would go to the one guy who would understand. And what Batman says is right, you can't make everyone happy or even like you. But there will be those who will see through the lies and manipulation when the intention is pure and done right. Beast Boy did what he needed to do, and he should be content with that, especially in knowing that there will be those who know it. Although, I would love to see Spider-Man having this conversation with him.
“Batman and Beast Boy Teamup” I didn’t know I needed that until I heard you say it. It was like a sleeper agent code word and suddenly out loud I was like ‘Oh fuck.’
It's cool to see Waller make big villain status. When she eventually falls, it's probably going to create an interesting status quo for future Suicide Squad stories as I imagine their existence will be revealed to the world (by "their", I mean the whole practice of taking super-villains and basically turning them into slaves).
@@Bakuganluver23 I just wish she’d go back to how she used to be. Yeah, she was a harda** and did a ton of questionable things, but she was first and foremost rightfully concerned with all the demigod-like beings running around, and I still remember how she comforted Terry McGinnis when he found out that he was genetically Bruce’s son.
@@coltonwilliams4153 ah, dcu Amanda Waller, that Waller is the perfect Waller. Now they just use her as a evil bitch to be an evil bitch, especially both suicide squad movies and eagle’s tv show, peacemaker’s cameo in that show was tight 🗣️🔥🔥💀
Amanda Waller WAS DC's Nick Fury. They did some shady stuff for the benefit of the US and even the world. While Nick Fury (any version) still works for the benefit of the US or the world, Amanda Waller is veering off happily into arch-villain territory.
now she's basically inciting world ending events and expect no consequences just because she hates all mutants for no real reason How she isnt just labelled as the main villain out of all of them is beyond me
If they ever do a team up, I hope it would be in a new Outsiders series. Which would really fit, considering how, in the comics and in Young Justice series, Batman and Beast Boy, respectively, were the one who founded the team.
This is what I love most about Batman, the compassion he shows to other people despite his issues with trust, it’s these small moments in comics and tv that I think make him really look human
This is a very Beast Boy day for me apparently, first I have to explain why picking Beast Boy of all the Titans to fight would be insane, now I want a Beast Boy major series, just a solo series, from Doom Patrol to Titans, showing the history of his character in the best way possible.
Beast boy would be a great sidekick or partner for Batman. They would clash but not in a bad way considering the people they are. Would make for a really cool story.
I like how in the last panel, you can see Nightwing smiling while he's in earshot of Batman giving Beast Boy the facts. He's probably thinking "Couldn't have said it better myself, Bruce. But coming from you, it means so much more than it would have from me."
Love beast boy Love a Teamup parhaps he hilariously Turns into a K9 like a German sheppard and batman hilariously Pats beast boy For tracking the villain So Fucking well He saves Sombodys Life it Be the Kind of thing batman would go Out of character for that to me Would be great
You don’t have to imagine Gotham talking about Batman at the dinner table, we got to see it happen in the dark knight trilogy when Bruce is talking to Harvey
oh shit having a beast boy and batman duo, talking about trauma of losing a parent, to lose onself to what they have become, Man bat, Boy beast. The theme of the man vs himself. bot supporting each other in their grief, one in experience one in suddeness. I do welcome a mini series, a story to talk about grief. I want these two duo to exist.
