I love how as human we don't have tail but every reactor is instantly piss on legoshi behalf when louis grabs his tail

I find it interesting that everyone's first reaction to Louis grabbing Legoshi's tail is to get offended and be like wtf, even though none of us have tails xD And yet everyone is like uhh how dare????

only a advice, the metaphors change within the story, sometimes is classism, sometime is racism, and its the job of the viewer to identify in which area is the character moving each time

Actually, this is how bullying happens in Japan, actually. It is one of the great problem in Japan, and every year so many students commit suicide and school can not do anything about it. I experienced it in Japanese school, and it is so stressful. Although I could get over it because I had friends.(But not the way it showed in anime, in my case, but what you see in anime actually reflects how it happens in Japan.) sometimes it happened that whole class just ignore you and don’t talk to you, when a popular guy decided to do so. Yes, it is for real. Japanese kids are scared to speak up when they witness such things and they rather ignore bullies kid. I think main reason is, in America you can fight Back but in Japan you can not even punch them for self defense, and bullies just take advantages of such situations. And of course it is not the image of whole Japanese high school, but wanted to say it actually happens and it is not merely expression in Japanese anime.

part of the animal theming means we get some interesting...points of contradiction, I'd call it? Legosi, the big strong wolf, is a timid, shy, awkward character who's scared of asserting himself. And, in cmparison, we have two herbivores (haru and Louis) who in most stories would be casted as timid and/or weak but instead have strong personalities (hell, Louis straight up seems to wish to BE a carnivore at times out of jealousy)

I feel like not many people watch this show because they assume it's for furries or they see CGI and assume it'll look bad. Honestly, I thought that a bit too, but the animation is surprisingly good, the story is shockingly gripping, characters are interesting, the theming and world is believable and the music is some of the best and most unique I've heard in anime recently.

I don't know what kind of subs you guys are watching but this is the first time i've seen the names spelled like that (they're spelled like their Japanese pronunciation instead of what they are actually supposed to be spelled like), so i suggest you switch to other subs

The names in these subs are all messed up. It's Louis (the French pronunciation) and Legosi

I believe the manga just ended. As someone who has seen the entire season I thoroughly enjoyed this show, and was surprisingly comfortable with the CG. (I normally can't handle full cgi shows) Also the dub is a pretty good dub if you want to watch it dubbed. This project was well done between the shot compositions, animation, and even music selection it is beautiful.

"everyone seems to have already moved n from the murder mystery" well, they're in highschool. what are they supposed to do? Solving the mystery is a job for the police.

Yall've probably already heard but it hasn't been said in the comments that the girl who wrote this is the daughter of the guy who wrote Grappler Baki. Also I'd highly recommend watching Grappler Baki. It's a bit like Naruto early on but gets super hype. As for a comparison between the two authors I'd say the daughter is a better writer overall. Baki however isn't meant to be a well written story it's an epic set in modern times where every impossible feats happen before us.

I watched the dub and I didn't find the lip flaps distracting. Granted the subtitles are more distraction the the lip flaps would ever be. I also didn't care for pronouncing Louis and Rouis.

Soa,you are really start to watch this amazona show,how Nice😀.Trust me, the more the series progresses, the better it gets, the end of the manga was kind of disappointing, but it wasn't like that and don't worry about strangling the CGI animation in the beginning, you get used to it little by little.

I feel like if you are always looking for the metaphor it will hinder your enjoyment of the show a little. Not everything is a metaphor, sometimes a story element is just a story element set in a different universe. That doesn't mean you can't draw parallels to classism, sexism, rape, or drug addiction but sometimes they don't map 1:1 to the real world and you just have to just accept the physical features of herbivores and carnivores and the relationships between them. Perhaps the theme is power imbalances in general. On a general note, it's usually more fun when reactors can reply to comments from the last video into their next videos, but it's understandable that you want to avoid spoilers. If your channel is big enough, it could be useful to get a moderator to filter spoiler comments out.
