This anime is a masterpiece. Easy 9/10

one of the few 10/10s for me, they just nailed everything for me. (voice acting, soundtracks, story and the overall vibe are excelent)

I liked the first season, haven't got into the manga since I'm waiting for season 2, maybe after that I'd dive into the manga :) Fun fact, the first op song is from the same band that did the Jujutsu Kaisen ending!

Liked the first opening more since it has a unique style, but the second isn't bad either. Overall I would give it a 8/10. The world building is interesting and how they handled the characteristics of the characters being animals. I think when I see more it can get a 9/10 but I'm careful with rating only 1 season

This is one of those series where you 100% must watch AND read. Both are good experiences in their own ways. The anime does a unique CG feel that makes the show look nice and the manga's art style is gorgeous. Also, I am curious on what your thoughts to the Air Gear Opening would be

literally the only reason i watched beastars was so i could be immersed in the second opening (i heard beforehand that YOASOBI was writing it)

You should definitively try the openings for Danranronpa:The Animation, Danganronpa Despair Side and Danganronpa Future Side

4:43 those animations are from season 1 of anime, they connected them in a way to make opening.

The 1st opening is made by the same people that made the ending song for Jujutsu Kaisen

Although I love both the manga and anime, and after finishing the anime I can appreciate how the anime gives life to the manga, that's the main reason why I'm still watching the anime. For me both openings are 10/10, I do like the soundtrack for opening 2 but i can't help but appreciate the style of the first.

Beastars first intro is so unique to the point where it doesn’t feel like an anime

Animation for Beastars is done by Studio Orange. they really pull of the 3D type style just like they did with Land of the Lustrous. Beastars is just an amazing series in and of itself but the addition of the great animation makes it even better. Read the manga, watched season one, so excited for the second season.

I’d give it a 7. I really liked this series, the mystery murder drew me in but then I was more focused on the characters and their lives.

I would give beastars a 8/10, the artwork used is the one in the 2nd OP, one of the best uses of CGI in anime, and the story is good too.

New to the channel and gotta say I loved your reaction to the ops! For me, I love them both equally for different reasons. The first op for season 1 just slaps in terms of music and style. I loved how it also tried to be unique by using both stop motion and silhouette (?) Style. I also loved the vibe it gives too! How it goes from scary and intense, to a more lighthearted tone to finally back to the dark aspect in both the animation and song. Its so good! The second opening is just as amazing, but moreso for the song itself rather than the animation and visuals. If you see the English lyrics for it, it's all about the main character (legosi the wolf boi) who always stayed hidden and reserved until he's met the bunny girl (haru). How she changed his way of life, and now is trying hard to fight his feral instincts while also staying true to himself in order to live a happy life with the girl he loves and as well as the friends he cherishes. Sorry if that was hard to understand 😅 All in all, both openings are my absolute favorite each for their own reasons. Sorry again if it was hard to understand and my long comment XD I'm just a really huge fan of Beastars ever since I read the manga lol

If you like the second opening, you should check out Yoasobi or even just the producer Ayase because he has been on a streak of great music during this past year starting with one song called "Yoru ni kakeru" or "Racing into the Night"

Beastars is really good! Definitely a 10/10. The story, the voice acting, the soundtrack- it's all amazing! The anime is in CG, which I know is a turn off for some people, but it's really good. you should check it out when you have the time

The first op is a great visual and auditorial way of expressing that this anime is different than what you would normally expect in tone and technology used for an anime. But the second op is my favorite. The second ed is also great. I normally skip intros, but I let the op and ed roll for every episode of season 2

For me its a morden masterpiece

Beastars is animated by studio orange, and they did a really good job with the CGI, especially in season 2, and that also works to the show's advantadge because during fights it allows the camera to show different angles you wouldn't normally see in it which allows for a really cool effect with it, for example, during one of the scenes in episode one of season 2, Legosi punches a wall (Legosi being the wolf seen in the OPs) and he goes for it in a way that makes it look like he's going to punch Jack (Legosi's childhood friend) before turning around and punching the wall, that's not something that could really be done as well as it was done if it wasn't for the CGI (I'm not going to spoil why he's punching the wall)

I love this show. The only issues I really had for both seasons is that neither of them wrapped up the season very well, and things kinda get rushed in like the final 1-2 episodes

The Beastars' manga is great... until the ending happens and just leaves you like... "meh?"

Man you should watch Beastars (well no pressure but I fell in love) and manga, if you like reading manga, is definitely something to go a little in-depth coz in anime they skipped some scenes that are worth mentioning and keep up the awesome work good sir

1st OP is still my favorite, but yeah, it's a great anime. I would probably give season 1 an 8 out of 10.

10/10 the dub is actually very good on this one I even prefer it a bit over subs and it's just a great slice of life series with some great world building and it only gets better from there from what I've seen of the manga

I don't know why some people are mad just because the second op isn't stop motion, the op is so awesome and it's not like the anime has the obrigation to use stop motion in ops, it's just the first one that was a special case.

Beastars is a good 8/10 for me, it is amazing! Forgetting the fact they're animals, there is so much more beyond that-- This is why people shouldn't judge too fast 😔 That's why so many miss out on animes. I hope you give this one a shot!

personally prefer the first op in both songs and visuals with its stop motion animation although the second op's song is pretty good too. Tho it fell kinda short in terms of animation reusing animation from the first series and mashing them together.

I love the manga! You should definitely read it! It’s full of drama, romance, and social commentary. The ending felt a bit rushed, to me, though. The anime only has 2 seasons, so far, and it is INDEED in cg. The season 2 cg improved GREATLY, from season 1. I feel like there might’ve been a lot more 2D overlay, which makes it look smooth. I recommend this, wholeheartedly!

first season was a good start it would be a 7 out of 10 but season 2 has really kicked off with a bang so 9 out of 10 cant wait for the third episode

I think I prefer the first opening's style, but the second one's song. The show itself I would rate 8/10. Just because the animation style can be a turn off to some people. I have seen it, but only the dub so far. I think I might watch the second season subbed first just because we won't be getting the dub until summer this year and I'm impatient XD

The first ones art style is better but the song is better for the second one imo. I'm a sucker for stop motion so I'm a Lil biased on that, but the aesthetic of the second is realllly fucking good to.

This anime is a solid 9/10 at least, no discussion. Like, if you rate this anime lower than 8/10, then you just have a prejudice either against furrys or cgi.

manga is overall better, but the anime is still very very good and when it comes to the OPs I absolutely adore both, although the visuals for the 2nd are fairly lackluster but I did enjoy the slight vector art that was used. Would love to see you react to Beastars! As someone who isn't a furry, I never saw myself enjoying this series but it quickly grew on me. Helped broaden my perspective for sure.
