Caster tips! For any DoT classes like Warlock, Spriest, Boomy, on Icehowl you can watch the timer for his Massive Crash and reapply your dots right before he charges to make sure you've got a fresh set of DoTs on the boss during the stun, rather then the dots fall off during the stun. Warlocks if you Doom the second Icehowl comes out. Your doom should tick right during his increased dmg window. Shadow Priests can put up a Devouring Plague at the last second of that dmg buff window and that entire Devouring Plague will be buffed.
Got real Tankspot vibes from this one. The cadence mostly, but I assume you watched their old guides a bit when you were putting this together. Major nostalgia.
Really pisses me off that dwarf stone form doesn't work on any of this. Even if u had to have it up first to negate with immunity vs useing it as a cleanse. It should work atleast on something
Nice guide as always, thanks! I am a bit sceptical if your guilds strat for worms end up being the prevalent one, but hey, you said yourself there are multiple ways to beat :) I like your healer setup, is there any video on your WA setup and setting?
If your raid is slow to kill snobolds and you have multiple up at the same time, they can all fire bomb the same target. That's 30-36k damage in 2 seconds. Very deadly.
@@Jooffee Last I saw, they were going to be included in logs. There is an achievement to keep them up the whole fight, but I think most guilds will be more interested in the cloaks.
I'm confused, if you're stacking only to 2 or 3 on Gormock, wouldn't your tanks then never lose stacks? As you need for a 4th stack to be applied to actually drop the bleed? Whats the point of swapping when your tanks are low if it will just end up with both of them with incredibly high stacks by the end of the fight. And before you say "just bubble it off" well it seems odd to be giving a strat out that assumes both tanks are paladins.
@@lockekappa500 BoP does remove Impale, but it does not remove Paralytic Spray. Only bubble or DI removes the worm debuff, but a BoP will work for the bleed
Check it out, another raid where having paladin tanks and heals is pretty much essential just to cheese the mechanics. Also not a fan of recommending people try to precisely kill the jormungers before submerge, seems like bug abuse that will likely get fixed
This is one of those things that you tell someone 20 times to swap and they argue with you for days and then at some point you just get so tired and fed up you don't care anymore.
the betterment of the entire raid and the healers over your personal dps should be the aim if you can save your healers a lot of damage your more likely to not die to something
Gormoks impale does not hit hard at all for what a tank mechanic is supposed to be. on PTR on heroic im stacking it up to 7, bopping it off, and our other tank takes ~2-3 and boss is dead. For the worms, killing them at the same time is just the simplest way to go rather than needlessly using DIs
Allowing Dreadscale to free cast the aoe version of burning bile is deadly unless the raid is diligently spread out (no melee attacking until Bile goes out). Getting rid of him first will make the worm phase much easier, but also requires a good amount of dps to pull off. If you can't do this strat, you'll have to do the spread strat and take another minute or so to finish this phase.
So not only do you waste bop, that could instead be cast on a ranged/healer with a snowbold, but you force it to 7 instead of going 5 and 5 :WeSmart: Get 5 stacks, Taunt, DS, Cancel DS, keep tanking as normal.
