Just something I thought I'd mention our guild does for Anub, as we can't 1 phase him yet (as in, he submerges only once). Drop your first two ice patches either side of Anub and have 2 adds on each ice patch, that way you can cleave all of them easier. Drop another 1 or 2 ice patches (depending on how many you have left) near the entrance of where you run in when you first encounter anub. The person being pursued kites him around for as long as he can (rocket boots, everything) and then runs towards one of the ice patches at the entrance. Call for BoP, and stand on the edge of the ice patch. Once BoP has about 2 seconds left, run into the ice patch and stun Anub. When an ice patch stuns Anub it disappears - by doing it this way, you will keep the 2 ice patches that were initially being used to stand the adds on. So when he emerges, you can reposition him where he was and get the adds on their ice patches again. In this guide it shows the raid running anub into the ice patches that the adds stand on. If you do that and you don't one phase him, you will have to put down more ice patches for the adds to stand on when he comes back up and it's a massive hassle.

Efficient yes, however, if you're doing this on heroic, touch of dark/light can cause some real fast wipes using this strat, which is why I opted to show this strat, it's easier to understand and simpler to pull off.
The only guides i trust/watch since classic released (or rereleasd) especialy when they actualy used to be 30sec!! haha can't complaign they are as short as possible and simple enough! thanks for providing!!
This guide sucks - how you know I'm actually thanking you. On ptr first northrend beast wasn't interrupting if you were outside 15 yards away. On Jaraxxus you can also bait the interrupt by casting and then cancelling it (for people with only one school of magic like holy pally). There are several other tactics you can use for faction champions. No mention of the Valkyr twins cheese (most ppl having the same colour buff and using CDs to get around having to switch)

THIS. the number of RLs I've raided with that want to talk for 10 minutes straight before each boss, covering mechanics that don't apply equally to everyone in the raid, and making most of the raid tune out and forget everything. Whereas a quick key point summary is much more useful.
what about the part where on anub heroic where u got two adds left and 2 more adds appear before ur add number 3 and 4 are killed? would that be ur raid's dps problem?

Hi, after I finish this raid normal, I try to do it again in Heroic but it said "You are ineligible to participate in at least one encounter in this instance because you are already locked to an instance in which it has been defeated". How can I run this raid 2 times normal and heroic ?

I dont think there is any need to half the raid on Twin Valks since they share health pool. Have everyone go one colour (apart from orb blockers) smash one mob near the opposite colour portal. If you're dark and light casts light AoE swap. Otherwise dont swap until dark has done it's AoE. If light does shield then no one needs to swap. If dark does shield just lust to break shield but stay dark. Its pretty simple
Can anyone explain to me why you can't stack the twins on one side of the room between both portals and nuke one boss? The orb buff is splash damage so if more people are stacked it'd be beneficial right? and with both of them between 1 set of portals it'd be more like a thaddius fight. Either go left or right to nuke shield and vice versa for the buff on vortex? They share the same health pool so it wouldn't matter right? Not for hardmode but just for normal mode! Serious question, i am generally curious! Please and thank you all very much
