What's annoying about the vizier point sound is that in this current caster UI we can't check out what the player chose for his vizier tech. At least that way it's pointing out something useful

Leenock spent 2 minutes siegeing down lumber camps, mills and houses instead of pushing the landmarks. What's up with pros playing so bad lately?

I know Beasty was super sick during this series, but leenock idk maybe it's a time zone diff or maybe he was distracted with something else in the game

Its likely that they are so used to practicing around not being able to get big strategic advantages over one another that they are over-conditioned to take small tactical victories when strategic victories are possible.

Leenock is not in god mode like you are. He doesn't even know where all chinese landmarks are. Also overextending and losing his springalds are insta gg. He is just too far behind at that point so that push really isn't going to do much as beasty can easily swarm him with army.

Leenock seems really out of it. Beasty is an excellent player in his own right, of course, but ignoring his mining vills being killed by lancers and not getting textiles while floating the res for a third tc for hours it more than just being outplayed imo.

The beta seems only available in steam for now but the new version can play on 25 October, so keep waiting, bro.

Is it just me or did it seem that Leenock let beasty come back into this game? instead of trying to decimate his eco he sat there slowly wiping useless buildings like houses and lumber camps giving beasty the time to mass the perfect counter army? There is no way he should have had enough time to get so much siege from his clocktower. Leenock would have known he was way outproduced when it came to vills and squandered his military edge by giving beasty time. Maybe I missed something though

I was thinking that too, though I also think it wouldn't have been enough time saved even if he had picked up the pace. I imagine he was trying to be cautious about the springalds since he didn't have the ability to reinforce anymore.

Siege must absolutely not overcommit. Siege cannot raid. He only had infantry, ranged infantry at that, and raiding with those is not very effective. This ranged ball + siege playstyle is very immobile. You have to work slowly through the enemy base, not dive it.

the "market trick" isnt really a trick, its just logical.... neutral market too close? make yours farther away, lol

Put those early traders to use while your opponent is naked fast castling

The "trick" is that you produce your traders in your base and send them right to the neutral market, but mark your far market as the home market. That saves you time on the first trip while maxing the gold return. I think that's not obvious unless you know about it.
