I noticed the X600 to the side. I actually just bought the Beats Pill to replace my Soundcore Motion X600 as my Mac mini speaker. I actually think the Beats Pill is very close to the X600. If you take out the Custom EQ and just use the default X600 sound, the Beats Pill beats it in my listening. Plus I like the way the Beats Pill integrates into macOS with the System Settings option and the menu bar item. I'm very glad the Beats Pill is back and it's a huge improvement. It might beat a lot of speakers on the market right now... Apple did a great job with it. (Oh and when you plug it into you Mac for lossless audio, it's really above the X600, I feel bad for Soundcore, their budget sound is starting to be revealed now by the other brands)
I have 2 x600’s! And I use them mainly as computer speakers and whenever I want to use them. I tried 1 single song for a few seconds and I was blown away that it sounded worse!! I was kinda sad so I didn’t try another song, but I plan to do a side by side when I get home. I went to the Apple Store today and bought a second Pill 😆
They both sound good at regular volume. But at max volume is where the Bose Flex shines. At 100%, the Pill distorts and has very little bass, and the treble makes the screechy highs unbearable. But at 100% you can still feel the thumping bass of the Flex and also there is less to no distortion at all and since there's no tweeter, the highs is still very pleasing. After testing both, I returned my Pill and kept the Flex.
Thanks for the review! Which one would you recommend between the Beats Pill and the UE Boom? I don't know which one to get (I mostly listen to modern Rap/Hip-hop)
Theres plenty other competition . for budget speakers u have to hear the" tribit Xsound plus 2" or the soundcore 300 which are half the price and have incredible sound and nice build quality. For only 60$-70$. Also cant forget bout the JBL flip 6 at bout 100$-130$. All these probably very close or even better considering perference.
@@LeesReviews69 I have the x600 and the 300. The 300 is more impressive for the size and price. Im bout to buy a beats pill as I'm a collector MYSELF. I can't wait to hear in person and do a sound comparison battle with all my favs. Budget speakers and expensive ones too. I like the gold color for the beats pill. I'll give u an update in couple weeks bout my personal actual opinion on the sound vs competition
@@LeesReviews69 ok bro. I just one TODAY. The new beats pill 💊. I got the black one. And it REALLY does sound GREAT. I like it ALOT. I compared it to my fav competition in similar size. The BASS is very NICE. And VERY nice clarity. No complaints. I will not return it. It does sound slightly BETTER than the tribit xsound plus 2, and the SOUNdcore 300. A more natural response. But against the JBL flip 6 or the bose FLEX , it is VERY VERY close. In this case it's about preference. The beats PILL does absolutely deliver. The bose FLEX is toe to toe with it. Very HARD choice on which is actually better IMO. U really can't go wrong with EITHER. But in this case 🤔 I have to go with the beats PILL. For the cooler look and really nice premium feel. Im actually really suprised. It performs ALOT better than the older version. I had actually returned the older version for the bose soundlink mini2. But not THIS one. It's a definite keeper. I score it a 8.5 out of 10. Excellent
The beats pill for sure. I have 2 Bose flexs and I wish I had 2 Pills instead. The Bose sounds good, but the vocals on rap songs on the pill is so bright and life like, and the bass is much tighter
@@LeesReviews69But in any genre, what can you say about Beats Pills Vs Bose Flex? I have Bose Flex already and I want to buy another one then Pill arrive so now I can’t decide. Flex really sounds good but I dont like its Bluetooth and App compared to new features of Pill like Bluetooth 5.1 and Find My and the charging
@@pudongskithe pill has 5.3 and Bose 4.2. There’s a song I Fall Apart by Post Malone, and there’s a door knocking sound in the song. I thought someone was knocking on the door it is is so real. I’m giving my 2 Limited edition Bose Flex’s to my niece and nephew, I bought a second champagne colored Pill and giving the UE BOOM away
@@Pablo-hw5ik the bass sounds and feel much higher quality on the pill than the flex. It’s has many more ranges of bass, and it sounds much much tighter and cleaner.
@@Musou01 i’m about to do a video on two pills versus the Bose soundlink Max. If you can afford it, the Bose is best. The Beats do something very magical to the vocals, but Bose vocals are realistic and the base is way way better.
@@LeesReviews69 dali katch G2 is also good HIFI portable speakers I was considering getting the Bose soundlink plus+, but the vocals don't seem clear and muffled and the bass is too reverberant?
@@FeeZ3 The Pill is louder, but I rarely ever put it at full blast as I don’t want to hurt the speakers, but the seconds that I have tried it, it gets very loud and the vocals get really loud and the bass and intruments get lost in the voice. I think for loudness Earfun is coming out with a brand new speaker Oluv the RU-vid reviewer has great great stuff to say about it
Pill is definitely louder but not worth putting it up at full volume cause everything sounds distorted and less clear. Main flaw with the beats pill but it does sound the highest quality imo.
