@@leandroalmeida333 Yeah, the only issue I have is that I'm unable to download new songs in-game. It tells me they're all unavailable but downloading from bsaber works perfectly.

I take it yours is working? I followed this guide but upon install Mod Assist says 1.18 has no mods & when i switch to 1.17 and follow the guide BS loads with a black screen & nothing happens. Any suggestions?
@@Shad0wseraphim I stopped using Modassistsant and just downloaded the zip files. Put the files into a new folder, put that folder into the costum song tab. Remeber to uninstall the mods, they are causing the blackscreens.
False alarm when you download it, it’ll work anyways in beatsaber even if it doesn’t show up in mods you just gotta go inside beatsaber in single player and find where it says custom songs and it’ll be there
Kalm | Mods are not available on PSVR Panik | and also not on quest because Facebook has banned them Kalm | unless you are using PCVR with oculus link.
@@ichigokush4672 the mod is called "Beat Together". I can't really give a link because bmbf isn't even out and mods aren't either. Just go on the beat saber modding group discord and wait for it
I installed Modassistant but only the mods menu shows up and not the library of songs to choose from. did they get rid of this or is there a button for it? I tried looking for the custom songs mod on the mod list but isn't there.
I’m planning on trying this out but if you don’t have a good enough PC for pc vr, try looking into Shadow Cloud Gaming(I think that’s the name) it’s like stadia but for gaming PCs. It should work on Quest if u you Virtual Desktop
so you can only play if you download the game on normal steam? You can only download custom maps after installing mods? Or the opposite I can't understand that well and the beat sabers updates disable custom maps too or just mods? (English is not my main language so I'm in need of some help here)
I had the one click installs working but now when I click them I don't get the popup in google, any ideas? EDIT: Solved! I just had to enable all the oneclick installs, even the non-beatsaver ones
@@dog-eat-dog-world It worked perfectly, I just have to go to the custom song tab and it's all there. If you upload it in a playlist it should be in the playlist tab, I haven't tried it yet because I've been looking ar random songs that I like the beat to
thanks , i just started pc beat saber yesterday and really only got it on steam so i could have modded levels , i got it free on my quest but as you said nearly impossible to mod
Hi, i did exactly as in the video but no mods option in the left of the game but I can install them manually with no-mod instructions. Can’t do it from in-game mod section. Anyone knows?
bruh, I've literally modded before and suddenly my mods stop working, I've tried everything from downgrading, to updating EVERYTHING to the latest version (that includes my pc drivers) but nothing works, no tutorials, no nothing. EDIT: Fixed by uninstalling BSIPA in Mod Assistant, then verifying integrity of game files using Steam then opening and closing the game THEN finally adding mods and it works!!!!! idk why tho
before watching the video... i wish i could install it on my quest2, but i'm way 2 scared that i would get banned by Facebook (who own the Beat Saber company) and lose my Facebook, my Quest account and my Quest2 would get locked and be useless. I think i will wait till i get my new GPU and then buy Beat Saber on Steam and mod that one.... i just dont think that it's worth the risk.
Also modding Beat Saber on Quest will likely break multiplayer on quest. Beat Saber isn't that much of a performance hit so you should be good with a 1060 and upwards. Good luck!
I installed everything, but looking left I do not see a menu for more songs, I do see that it says MODS, but it also says something along the line of your mods dont have custom links or something like that. what did I do wrong
Wow modding was so easy I was like wait, no that can't be it. There's no way that worked. But it did! Took me way less time than figuring out how to get steam VR to work 😅 However, I was NOT able to sign in to beast saber. Idk if there's something wrong with their servers or what. But does that mean I won't be able to cloud install songs from PC? Do you have to be signed in before installing mod assist, or how does that work?
When I try to open Mod Assistant, a table pops up saying - Windows Defender SmartScreen stopped it, because it is dangerous. What do I do? Is it safe to run it anyway? I had mod assistant on another laptop of mine, but nothing like this ever popped up. But also... After some time I got 100000+ trojans. Of course, it may not be from the app. (I am just stupid in these things)
I don't know if it is highlighted in an updated version, but on quest, we can search for songs straight in beatsaber rather than going through beast saber and cloud syncing. Is this something yuo can also do on steam version?
i downloaded beatsaber on oculus but when i open mod assistant it says it cant find the file and then it pulls up a tap with my files on them and tells me to select it manually but when i look for it its not there. then i close mod assistant and look in my files and its in the exact place i just looked. plz help.
I had the same proplem -- when you open mod assistant and it says open manually locate the folder that contains it .. In my case I had downloaded it from s t e a m unlocked but I just found the folder where the beatsaber app was located and selected the directory not the app itself. Hopefully that helps
exact same thing happened to me. i know how to fix it. i also have it installed on oculus. when it says you have to manually locate it, go to the folder it is supposed to be in, and click save. even though it doesnt appear there, it is for some reason. this worked for me.
if you are experienced with creating levels then you can use a level creator to make your own. There is also a website called BeatSage that uses artificial intelligence to create levels for you from any youtube video or soundcloud clip.
I've got the same issue, I believe it is because the mod creators have not updated the Mod Assistant application to support the newer version of Beat Saber as of yet.
great video, but i cant find where my beat saber is installed, as i just have it on the vr headset and nowhere on my computer. i tried getting it on steam but its another $30, do i have to spend that or is there a way to hook up my oculus to steam?
Yeah but how do you actually play the songs? The mods appear to be installed and working, I see text that says the number of songs that are loaded... But I can't find anywhere to select and play the songs. NEVERMIND, in case anyone else needs to know, you have to click on a little icon that looks like a hand holding a musical note. Not very intuitive. Wish someone had told me.
I have windows 11, and mod assistant isnt wanting to open, no prompts just nothing. Anyone else had this and fixed it? edit: i fixed it with windows troubleshoot.
um question, it says when i run the mod assistant it says couldnt find beat saber installation folder, and maybe thats because i installed beat saber on my vr head set
this might seem like a really dum question, but the songs I downloaded arent visable in my documents, only on beatsaber in game? I want to delete some of the songs I downloaded but not sure how.
my beat saber custom lvls folder is missing???? i open the beat saber folder and all i see is the folder 241, i open it and i see the zip folder???? help?
