Dang, wish I could have been in chat during this. I grew up watching doraemon and I could've translated and given you background on the tools/characters. Why doraemon has all these tools is because he's a robot from the 22nd century sent by a kid to his great great grandpa in the 20th century since he's such an incompetent screw up, it caused generations of his family to suffer. He's supposed to use those tools to help him not be a such an utter failure.

1:17 the words spoken by the king here translate to “Woah, is that Corona?” What’s funny to me though, is that COVID is not called just Corona in Japan, specifically it is “Coronaka,” or Coronavirus. The last part of that sentence transliterates to “Corona Ka?” so literally. She is the coronavirus.

It seems like a majority of the textures and even the skyboxes were snatched from Super Mario 64. Wonder if those were all present on the 64 dev kits by default? Either that, or the people behind this legit wanted to make Super Mario 64, except with Doraemon.

Doraemon is indeed the most popular manga for children around Asia, and considered as culture icon in Japan. Aside Doraemon, there are also four main characters: Nobita - the boy whose future grandchildren send Doraemon back to help their pathetic grandfather, Shizuka - the girl that would eventually become Nobita's wife, Suneo - the rich kid that loves showing off and Jaian - the big one that sings terribly and always bullies Nobita. This game was only for fan serving but it cleverly brought in the original gadgets from the manga :) Watched your stream before and I appreciated that you finally played it Thab!

This game has to have been made in the same engine as M64 and OoT. It’s crazy!

Very cool series, I never really played N64 games so it's really fun to watch you beat every one of them. BTW the demon with bull's head was a mythical Minotaur and the text was not written in katakana but in hiragana with some names written in katakana.

Doraemon is a robot cat from the future sent to the past to help Nobita (yellow shirt kid) to improve to secure a better future for him. it is a very cool anime, you should give it a try.

I really like this series but I think it can get a little repetitive. Most of the videos are going "I did that, then I did that thing then this happened". I'm don't know what would be a good way to introduce the game and talk about what happened. There really isn't much gaming youtubers doing these types of videos anymore. The only one I can think of is Dunkey but he is wildly different from Thab. I don't want Thab to give up his own style. I just feel like some more stuff can be shown rather than Thab telling us about it. Watching gameplay is fundamentally watching where you have a parasocial relationship with the creator. Watching these videos I feel like we barely get to see Thab's initial reactions, or how frustrating a problem is for him (which would be great because there is some weird stuff on n64) I noticed this after watching some of the original streams, they are very entertaining because you really get the feel of boredom or frustration. It might be hard to get the flow of this because of Thab writing the script and Craw editing the video accordingly. I'm sorry for throwing up complaints without any solutions. I really do like these videos.

This whole game feels like a knockoff of Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time. Even stole Ganon's title of Demon King.
