The events in this game are amazing. Getting ding-dong-ditched, buying a Smashing Pumpkins album, sketchy science experiments and magic stones... This game has it all.

The new (English) one doesn't have ANYTHING. Not only does it not have a "success" mode, it also doesn't even have Teams! You have to create a bunch of teams before you can even play it single player, and it's meant to be an online game (make a team then just play against other teams). You can't make your own players or anything though, you just pick from a pool of players they give you, has a real "Backyard Baseball" vibe.
