I think that "Weird pose" the pit-crew does is a real thing. After working on a car in such a fast situation, they all have to raise their hands to show their not still touching anything on the vehicle, that way there's no room for error or chance of injury.

Gotta say, graphically this game is pretty good for N64.

Pinning the guy against the wall gave me a nostalgia flashback to (i think it was) "PGR - Project Gotham Racing" for the Xbox. The online community was so creative with its unofficial game types, the devs added them to one oof the sequels. But what I flashed on was "Cat & Mouse", where it would be 2-to-4 teams of 2 players, each, facing off. Where 1 teammate would be a supercar of their choice & the other teammate would be a Mini Cooper... the most important cargo of the game, so to speak, as the Mini must cross the finishline before all other Minis to win. The whole game is to get YOUR Mini across the finish line of the Nurburgring 1st among Minis, while also using their teammate's supercar to attack other teams in order to slow them down. While also protecting your team Mini from those angry lambos that are out to do the same. Honestly the best racing experience I ever had.

That weird pose from the pit crew is what Formula 1 pit crews used to do to signal they're done with a change of tires. Might have been other series too.

I actually forgot I was looking at an N64 game with this one, the graphics are close to Dreamcast levels.

file it under hidden gem. so many racers on N64 it's easy to miss a good one. this reminds me of Beetle Adventure Racing, of which i'm a fan, except it has more detailed environments, more real car variety, and sim style tuning.

The developer of this also made Automobili Lamborghini, the first N64 game I owned. I never played this but it looked so familiar, it’s got the same aesthetic and hand-raising pit crew. Can’t wait to see you play that one, I had the BEST memories with it.

Thab, regarding the sharp turn at 3:56. This is an outside line turn. You have to start on the opposite side of the road, to the right as far as possible, to make the turn wider.

The reason the pit crew hold their hand up is so whoever tells the driver to go can clearly see when all four tires are safely finished being changed

Nfl qb club 98 was always one of my favorites. Stoked for it. When the jaguars first came out and I became a jaguars fan for a short period around 5th grade

The “car radio” cheat/camera was an available-from-the-start camera option on Project Gotham Racing. It was completely unplayable but it was fun for about three minutes.

For you it could be adding in your you tube transcripts with a few screen shots and hey presto you have a fab ebook you could sell when you have completed this wonderful mad project you are doing.

I remember renting this game as a kid from a mom and pop rental store in my town I enjoyed it as a kid wasn't nowhere cruisin world which I loved on my 64 but roadsters was playable lol btw love the series can't wait till Glover gets picked !

I simply can't stand music on this game. I'd rather listen Kääriä than this, really. Other racing game from Titus on N64 had awesome music, though. However, only other complain is that framerate should be slighly higher to really be called smooth. This game really has drawing distance and almost everything else right as well. Pretty good game that is better than the Dreamcast -version.

I hope one day when he plays an NFL game he chooses to play as the Carolina Panthers...we weren't/aren't good it would just be fun to see them.
