Beating Stardew Valley's Toughest Challenge 

After losing my sanity to JunimoKart, I'm convinced that, in-universe, it was made to be as unfair and bullshit as possible so that patrons would keep pouring quarters into it. It's got to be such a cash cow for the saloon, even though that with a town that small, literally everyone would know that it's bullshit, but they'd keep playing it because they refuse to be beaten by anything that stupid

Fun fact: Junimo Kart was almost completely reworked. *THIS IS THE REWORK.*

I have 100+ hours in this game and I've never even gotten past slippery slopes - so watching Skurry beat it in one (very long) sitting was. An experience

the 1.4 patch notes apparently claim junimo kart was "completely redone and is now actually fun." which makes me shudder to think how bad it possibly could've been before

I like to think that after making a very peaceful and wholesome game, ConcernedApe' inner devil started to itch up. But instead of spreading evil on the start of his game, he decided to pour all of it in JunimoKart. It has also been proven update after update that ConcernedApe will always add 1 thing that is either scary or masochistic.

junimo kart would be so much more infuriating if the minecart clangs werent the most delicious sound effects in the game

My favorite part about junimo kart especially the endless mode is that there is a chance that the random map generation just makes an impossible jump by having a set of platforms that go like ___-----_ / so its just not a jump that can be made

You certainly have more willpower than i did when I tried Junimo Kart, I gave it like five or so tries and then decided it wasn't worth losing my sanity. And honestly seeing the levels past the third one i think i made the right call lmao

fun fact i did this while playing together with a friend so time didnt pause in the game. so for every in game day i would only get the time to do one attempt because of how long it takes. (my friend was not very happy with how i would use our time) the game is a lot more fun than people give it credit for once you learn it tho

It was so funny seeing Skur complain about the bullshit, this game was designed to be one of those awful, frustrating, but fun and challenging NES games. The game never puts anything in your way that you cant avoid if you look far enough ahead or are precise enough, but sometimes "far enough ahead" is the edge of the screen, and "precise" is almost pixel perfect

Since you like Hollow Knight randomizers and Stardew Valley, may I suggest giving the Stardew Valley randomizer (through Archipelago, which I assume you are familiar with) a try? You can even do a dual game Hollow Knight + Stardew Valley, or any other combination of Archipelago randomized games!

The last level on this arcade game is by far one of the strangest for me play (I haven’t actually beaten it yet) The platforms feel so random and it has almost no actual recognisable pattern. Everything else I have managed to learn and have even been able to make strategies on how to go faster on some levels. Good game, amazing skill ceiling, never playing again.
