It's amazing how skurry's speedrun brain immediately find ways to cheese the game without even trying

I actually love how cheesable this game is. I finished it without even getting the grappling hook because the double jump lets you dash again in the air, and the dash lets you double jump again. So you can cross basically every gap by chaining them together.

I did the exact same thing when I first came across Splvnk's house. I immediately quit and lost 1.5 hours of progress so I could go back and *not* destroy the home. the darling child must be protected.

Great vid, very cool game. And for anybody wondering about that weird text (that wasn't in english or any other "normal" language) that they found in a couple different spots... It's written in a language called ROILA (short for RObot Interaction LAnguage), which was made to be easy for robots to understand. The first text skurry found (at 24:14 when they were in Snail City (tm)) says "MONA JEKUTE NAWE. TEJIM MONA BILIJU FOJANE." which translates word-by-word as "She clean way. Water she move free" which I think means something along the lines of "She cleans the way. Water moves freely." and I'm guessing "she" is referring to "water." Though im not sure why it has "water" and "she" back to back in the second sentence. The other piece of text (37:12, when that robot... jumped into the fire) is a lot easier to translate -- "WEFIPU NEJOJ SOWU WELONA, FOJANE BAMAS SESEME NIKUF PUBEMU SOWU FEKAKU. MEKOBI BAFOP KULIL FENOB NIKUF BUKUF." Which translates to "Delicate fire and flame, free this land from ill and hate. Breathe in new life from death."

i jumped to around halfway through the video. i watched about three seconds of this little guy slashing a wall and rolling through it, and i am going to go buy this game immediately

Bro the second I saw the creators opening the door, I instantly noticed that there were four notches, one of which was already unlocked. Then instantly thought, does that mean there is a fourth one? and then is he inside? and bada boom bada bang call me sherlock and then shove me off a building so I fall on a bouncy castle

Fun fact: that ledge *is* possible to get to with just a wall jump. I know, cause I spent half an hour getting to it, only to be Very upset at the fact that is was Literally Just Lore lmao

RoboKnight seems pretty cool (whilst it does take some similarities from hk, artstyle and combat seem really unique, but bosses could use some improvement)

I found the enemies, boss battles and items to seem really heavily inspired by hollow knight. I feel like im just watching a hollow knight speedrun. But the game is really nice, and well bulit.

On a more serious note, charms make a good metroidvania (excluding Metroid, which is a good MV for separate reasons). SotN, Ori, Hollow Knight (and Silksong), and of course, Haiku.

This is a game that looks like it was heavily inspired by Hollow Knight in every good way possible!

As cute as this game is... it REALLY feels like Hollow Knight was blended up and then reconstituted into this aesthetic. It is far from bad, but I wish it was brave enough to have its own story and mechanics.

Maybe you had to kill the creators after you killed the final boss because the creators sealed away the virus that got in the sword, forever
