To me this video is an absolute proof that Ringo is the only fourth beatle. That place was ordained for him from above and neither Best, nor Nicol belong there.
This must have been a very anxious time for Ringo, having someone in his shoes while he was away from the group due to being ill. He knows more than anyone how ruthlessly the Beatles replace their drummers.
Jimmy was drunk off his ass. The Beatles had been hard drinkers since they were in their teens and all through their Hamburg days. Jimmy just hadn't built the tolerance for booze like the others had.
