On June 13th I was invited to a special tasting of the different products from High Bank Distillery, in Columbus, Ohio. I went to the Grandview location, as there are two, with the second in Gahanna. I was so impressed with this Whiskey War Double Double Oaked that I knew I had to tell the RU-vid world about it.

As always, it's good to see you, KC. 🙂 I like the Air Force roundel on your t-shirt - I was in the Air Force, 1978-1982. 2:33 I've been making that point about the difference between the date and the holiday for years. Hopefully people will listen to you, 'cause they ignore me. 😕 7:42 I'm drinking my first glass of Hard Truth Sweet Mash Rye, and the predominant characteristics are heat and sweetness. I'm getting almost nothing from it that to me signals rye whisky. And it's *good.*

Thank you for your service to our country. I haven’t tried that Hard Truth bottle yet. I have one here but I haven’t opened it yet. Maybe that’ll be the next show.
