Hi! This is Kompit, the owner of the cabins. I can't tell you how much I love and appreciate such an in-depth and insightful your video is. It is so informative for future guests. Just a quick note about the hot water: we use Stiebel Eltron water heater TANK. Tank is the key - it slowly heats up the water. Ours is 100 litre, I believe. We chose a big one because it can get down to 2ºC in the middle of winter. Most places in Thailand use instantaneous water heater. It heats up instantly and is usually easier to install - plus most people in Thailand don't take hot shower that's why. We would love to welcome you back in the winter. After being I the heat all year round, a lot of Thais, including myself, love to enjoy crisp cold air up there :)

Oh wow, I was there in January, I wish I knew about the cabins. I am a Thai/Canadian son, and this video makes me feel at home somehow. The view across the mountain from you guys sat and had lunch at Cafe No. 148 by Raming is my land where I will build my house next year 😊. The central feature of Chiang Dao district is a long valley with Doi Luang mountain on one side. The last part of the road from Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao valley passes through a narrow and lovely pass with the Ping river one side. From your video, you turned off up into the mountains before getting into the valley (which is where the town of Chiang Dao is located). The lovely view you enjoyed is looking back towards Chiang Mai into Mae Taeng district.

They're weak water pressure in some location in Thailand. Local people use water storage and water pressure pump in order to have good water supply. If your house have those things, check water pressure pump.
Im flying from HH to Chiang Mai, for the first time (I usually fly out of BKK) in September. I really like staying in an Air Bnb in Old town. Your off grid home is amazing!

Great place. Well now it's gonna be busy 😂. Malaysia and Singapore uses UK plugs . If your HH home uses instant water heater then there's something wrong with it if the hot water is not consistent. Ask the landlord to get someone to fix it.

Yes we filmed it to share it with yo guys! stayed for 3 nights and only filmed for about 20 minutes, didn't edit it. lot's of down time. very great place to relax.
What if you only have USB-C devices (Apple) and you need a charger that only accepts USB-C stuff? Also, how do you hire a car out in the middle of nowhere?
Why I normally stop watching certain channels I love. It`s just that the videos are getting longer and longer. Me as a client:-) need only like max 10 min videos to entertain me and if this is an interesting material for me then I pick next one from the same channel but having like too long videos mostly at night times make me this material unreachable and neverending to me. Maybe it`s just my problem but I thought I`ll let you know because I love to see your travels and doings but just don`t have that much time because I want to spend my time also with some football news, music, Thai boxing, Quizes etc... Final words- I hope you understand that I don`t expect you to shorten your videos for me. It was just my opinion I wanted to share with you- maybe there are many others like me too and it helps you to get more followers, you know🙂
