Small correction on the matter of the Finnish language: Finnish, unlike Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish, is not a Scandinavian language. It is an Uralic language, and completely unrelated to the other languages spoken in Scandinavia. In fact the closest language spoken outside of some Russian minorities is Hungarian.

Actually, it's Estonian, they're closely related. Only then Hungarian, but it's much, MUCH less similar to either of those as it diverged a much longer time ago.

Really nice new suburban area Egg, really unique! I reckon we are missing a parks and rec dlc that encourages sims down meandering paths, fingers crossed one day we'll get one. "Pink and Spanky" 😂

It doesn't seem that we even need such a DLC. The vanilla functionality suggests that at least benches, workout machines can be used, when built-in exercise areas, park areas and walking/hangout areas are placed. These are built in but see broken. Of they worked, one would be able to place them next to paths and things to get usage at open areas. 🤞

A Gyratory (jai·ray·tuh·ree) is a one-way road system that acts like a roundabout - so broadly circular or irregular shaped loop. With sometimes different lane designs and priorities to a normal roundabout. They will also quite often will have buildings (like Broadway Gyratory in Hammersmith, London) or other 'functions' (like a car park for example on the Armley Gyratory in Leeds) in the middle of the gyratory. They are usually quite a bit bigger, handling higher volumes (and sometimes higher speed) of traffic than roundabouts.

First, you take the dinglepop, and you smooth it out with a bunch of schleem. The schleem is then repurposed for later batches. Then you take the dinglebop and push it through the grumbo, where the fleeb is rubbed against it. It's important that the fleeb is rubbed, because the fleeb has all of the fleeb juice. Then a Shlami shows up and he rubs it, and spits on it. Then you cut the fleeb. There's several hizzards in the way. The blaffs rub against the chumbles, and the plubus and grumbo are shaved away. That leaves you with a regular old plumbus!

Just a comment on retaining walls: they are designed so that you have the flat bit at the top... constant level ground at the bottom looks very unusual, except maybe in a totally concrete setting, so don't get so itchy about having to studiously flatten the base is my thinking. Nice expansion to Bourbon BTW. You could continue Cedar Street (or the 4-laner) along, over the rail and under the motorway and carry on up the river, as the "old" road. Maybe even have a bridge further upstream where the river narrows. "Pink & Spanky"... yep, that's also what I thought that company was first time I saw it!

Id not play this on a laptop and if you do use GeForce Now. It struggles on high ends pcs ATM, performance isn't it's strong point

this city has around 125k people living there - i wonder: Where is the "shi**y" part of the city? the parts with low income, bad housing and weird shops promoting another gambling issue? I'd be great to see these parts, too. And i'm pretty sure: these parts are actually vital for cities. And i'd be more realistic. now, it just looks like the middle-class dream....

Cities 2 is a completely new game. It currently doesn't have DLC except a radio station.

@@OVERCHARGEDEGG Fair enough although I'm on xbox and I just like realism. I live in a large town and realistically the busiest roundabout in our town is comparable to a six zone square roundabout (3 zone square curve) see how well that works with a dual carriageway on CS 😂

Egg, Can you use the decal mod to add ivy or green covering to the quay walls around the garden and diner. Maybe put some graffiti on the diner wall. I have not looked at all of the decals now available.

Nice video as always! Question: Why do you cut off the most expensive plots from the shore with a street? That needlessly lowers their value. Just zone on both sides.
