That engine sounds amazing! Car is super underrated glad it finally got an update that it deserves. Super underrated lots of people don’t even know what it is. And you know that engine gonna last forever super reliable car. Not gonna give you any issues in the long game.
Why is everyone saying this car is underrated and doesn’t get any love? I can’t even remember the last time I saw someone bashing this car. It’s almost universally adored.
The people who can just comment, like you and me love it. But people who are actually in the market to buy, will sadly buy a BMW or merc or smth instead.
Ngl there will NEVER be another LFA but Lexus was kinda tough on this one the other F sport cars too. LFA pushed their work to another level their design and language and performance was s tier for a decade plus after. The perfect halo car for Lexus. I drove an IS250 F sport and it was the best car this young man has ever driven (i havent driven much to be transparent but point stands). Felt like a poor man's (or upper middle class man's since it's still luxury but not 400k luxury) LFA. And realistically ill never own an LFA (god willing maybe i will 🙏🏽) but an IS? Maybe (god willing)
As someone who works at Lexus. I do and don’t understand how underrated this car is. It’s basically a rebodied rcf, slightly tuned motor, trans too but it’s more leaned towards comfort. Steering is god awful and all it wants to do is oversteer, and frankly the only true difference of this and the rcf besides body, is the interior and that’s really what you’re paying for. It’s a cool car, not worth the price just like every Lexus we make now. If you want a performance Lexus, get a 2008-2014 ISF. They perform better in every aspect and even beating the shit out of them still last above 300k miles easy even modified.
