The key is a mascara wand with VERY short bristles. I used to love roller lash, but when I bough the brown i found it dried out within 1 month, whereas the black I got 3 months out of it. Now i LOVE the loreal TELESCOPIC. it is UNREALLLLLLL for us blondies who have to get riiighhttttt down to the base

Thank u Sarah 💜 I have a tip to get your lashes covered easier...before you apply mascara use eye liner on the inside part of the lash. That way you dont have to work so hard to cover all those blonde hairs! p.s. Im a golden blonde ging under the dark purple hair. Lol

I got some "ghost lashes" too!!! and eyebrows and luckily body hair. I HATE to see someone with BLACK eyelashes putting on mascara!!! I can't even SEE my GHOST LASHES to put mascara on!!! I just point the WAND where they're supposed to be and hope for the best!! LOVED your tutorial and "GHOST LASHES"!!!!!

I always spend so much time on eye shadow and then F it all up with trying to get the mascara all the way down to the root and end up with black all over my lower lid and have to go back with concealer screwing up my hard work 😆. Lots of great ideas to try.

Omg thank you! I do have naturally long and dark lashes but the roots are blonde! So it looks really weird when I use mascara and don’t get me started on eyeliner! So this is a game changer for me!

Man... My entire life I could never get my upper lashes to look good bc when I closed my eyes, you could see the light lash at the root and I always tried to put mascara in by rolling it on top and underneath but it made a huge mess and my lashes clumped! I never did the liquid liner thing first bc I have my eye liner tattooed on and didn't think I needed it but after watching you I clearly do. I'm gonna try the fan brush thing, too! Thanks!

Another mascara with an even tinier brush is Innisfree. It's Asian beauty, available in colors and on Amazon! My lashes are white blonde and stick straight and your advice about tight lining plus Innisfree has been a game changer. Been wearing mascara (badly!) for 40 years!!

Being older means I’ve been dealing withGhost lashes and brows lots longer. I’ve always said my face is “water soluble “ because it washes right off! You can also take the mascara and apply to a liner brush and tightline that way. More ginger videos please!

I'm not the only one lalalala! When I just apply a little eye shadow and mascara I'm fine... But when I do some eyeliner, I always used it to mess around with it between the lashes. Good drugstore option for mascara with a skinny wand is Maybelline Lash Discovery or WnW Mega Length. I use the skinny wand for my first coat of mascara top and bottom to tight line, then I go in with Covergirl Exhibitionist (current favorite). Waterproof because of my watery eyes... Garnier eye makeup remover with the blue cap, and hold it on my eye for 30 seconds before I wipe gently.

Thanks for the useful info! What do you think about lighter colored mascaras like plum, auburn, etc? Benefit used to make a great plum that looked great and natural. Have you ever used brow mascara for a very natural look? A tip I’ve learned from RU-vid is to curl your lashes by crimping them up. Grab lashes in lash curler and then turn it up at a 90 degree angle.

I just hate using black mascara on my blonde lashes. and i can Never do a natural makeup look because i have to cake it on there so i get all my blonde lashes covered. and then people with black eyelashes can do just a little bit without having blonde eyelashes show.
